Amsterdam Identity Apartments - אמסטרדם

My recent trip to Amsterdam allowed for an extra weekend stay. We chose to stay here. It was really great. Much more then expected due to the money. The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable and overall quiet. If I were the apartments I would work on the following - 1) signs. It took us a while to find the place - very little signs 2) water pressure. While most of us were fine with water pressure, a few in my party wanted more.

The apartments are very nice indeed. I was there for work, and felt very at home coming back in the evenings. These apartments mean you can cook at home, which saves a lot in terms of not having to eat out every meal. The area is an extremely sparse place, dominated entirely by empty offices in the evening, however, getting to the centre is a breeze. Incidentally, you can pay for the train in with your public transport card. You just have to register your card once at any station to allow train transport. My only notes would be that the rooms are not cleaned every day, as it is an apartment, rather than a hotel room, and that all rooms have single beds, not doubles, so if you are with a partner, you might find yourself rolling onto the floor if you're not careful! Also, after the 'welcome pack' is used (like soap, toilet roll, etc) you will have to buy these items yourself. However, overall, I am quibbling. These are excellent, clean, apartments, with attentive staff. I would highly recommend them.

This place is like staying in a stylish hotel but with more home comforts. My only complaint is that the hotel billed me in pounds, adding a 4.5% currency conversion fee! I was able to insist on this being refunded and billed in euros - the staff were very nice - but the whole issue of fees was not as transparent as it should be. My studio apartment (for 2 people) was basically a large open-plan room with a separate bathroom. It had kitchen facilities, a table to eat at, twin beds and a comfy chair. There is no daily housekeeping, but frankly it was a relief not to have these interruptions. TV had built-in internet access. There was no oven or grill, but there were hobs, a sink, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, fridge and dishwasher. Sloterdijk is outside the city centre, but the trains are so frequent and quick that you can leave your room and be at central station within 15 to 20 minutes. If you want to get to Museumplein, tram 12 runs from the bus/tram terminal within the train station. For a supermarket, take bus 15 one stop (5 mins) to Bos En Lommerplein for the Albert Heijn there. For a convenience store, use the "AH to Go" in the train station, where you will also find cash machines. There are two bar/restaurants nearby, one just outside the station called Hermes (was OK), another place round the back of the hotel building. Even with the currency fees issue, this place is nice enough that I want to come back. Bring some tea bags and a few extra dishwasher tablets ;)

Clean, comfortable, apartment with friendly knowledgeable staff in a good neighborhood. Very close to Sloderdjek Metro/Bus Station, 20 minutes by bus or 45 minutes by Metro from Centraal Station. Only knock would be there are not many restaurants in walking distance.

Pros - (1) Price per night is, indeed, very affordable (2) Location is great (3) Quality of the apartment is superb. Cons - (1) Staff treatment was bad, as if we are backpackers (2) Deposit of Eur300 is ridiculous (3) Obligation to throw your own garbage even if someone stays for one night. So what's the housekeeping doing then?

The apartments are lovley. Even better than the pictures. Only a train ride away from amsterdam but its worth it as where the apartmenrts are you will get a great nights sleep as its so quiet. The only problem is the water is only hot for an hour! But you get over it as its so nice! Great value aswell. Don't waste money on a hotel get an apartment!

Clean, spacious apartment. Provided everything we needed: towels, dishwasher soap, coffee, tea, etc. WiFi great, front desk service great. Short walk to train/bus. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was clean, modern and the kitchen was well equiped. Its just 200 yards from Sloterdijk station (2 stops out to the airport, one stop into centraal station. The tram station is in front of Station Centraal, (buy a day ticket). So it was a good base for seeing Amsterdam.

Firstly, the staff were fantastic, they helped us in any way they could. The room was perfect for us - the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The location was great - one minute walk from a train station that takes you to Amsterdam Central in under five minutes. All in all, a great place to stay and already planning to stay here when we go back to Amsterdam!

Very nice appartments, loved it! Nicely decorated, spacious, modern and very quiet. We were on the 7th floor with a nice view. Well situated next to the railway station, so easy to go to Central Station. Staff very friendly, really a great place!

De omgeving is niet erg inspirerend, maar vooral praktisch. Binnen twee minuten op station Sloterdijk, vanwaar met de trein, tram of bus vele mogelijkheden om Amsterdam in te gaan. Appartement nieuw, modern en stil.

I travel with my family (2 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby) and stay for 5 nights in this hotel; everything was good until the check-out. We were told that we need to pay for extra for a baby cot for 10 Euro a day. If this were mentioned before we check-in, or when we request the cot, then we will be OK to pay for the cost. However, it's a very disappointment when we only know they will charge for a baby cot on a daily basis. Very uncomfortable for being asked for additional cost.

Rekommenderar detta hotell, väldigt vänlig och service inriktad personal. Allt nytt och fräscht på hotellet, bra tränings möjligheter på hotellet. Ligger i ett litet tråkigt område men precis intill järnvägs station där det går tåg till Amsterdam var tionde minut, resan tar drygt 10 minuter, även tåg till resten av Holland. Jätte nöjd. Ända plumpen var att vi missat att man skall deponera 300 euro när man bor där, annars allt mycket, mycket bra.

net klein appartement met nodige voorzieningen voor n langer verblijf. Omgeving leent zich daar minder voor, weinig vertier, behalve als je zakelijk gezien in de buurt moet zijn. Extra faciliteiten als sauna en was- en fitnessruimte prima. Afwerking kamer niet altijd even doordacht. Goede persoonlijke service

Apartamento con todo tipo de servicios, (para cocinar, limpieza, etc.), es muy completo, limpio y acogedor. La gente muy amable, y atenta a nosotros. El único inconveniente es su ubicación, ya que esta a 15-20 minutos en bus, pero no es gran problema ya que hay un bus cada 10 minutos, y también hay la opción de ir en tren que es más rápido. De todos modos la estación esta a 2 minutos andando del apartamento. Nuestra valoración general es muy buena.
