Affordable unbeatable location.

A great place to stay. Newly redone, so flooring, paint, bathrooms, bedding all new. An old place so noise insulation not best, but owner done great job and very friendly also.

Overall it was a nice experience. We didn't move our car due to everinthing being close by (the beach, bars, restaurants...) One issue I had was that our window was facing the streets so after the bars closed I can hear people walking by and they were not necessary considerate people for those in their rooms. I liked the room, it was very basic with access to a fridge, microwave, and a coffemaker.

Our stay at Pacific View Inn couldn't have been better. The staff, Neil, Justin and Diane were all very accommodating. You can't beat staying steps from the ocean for the price. My family had a great time and staff provided us with bikes to get around the beach, stores, restaurants and the boardwalk our whole stay. I would recommend Pacific View Inn if you want to stay right on the beach, great staff and not have to pay higher prices to get a few more amenities.

Great location. Close to beach, restaurants and other facilities. Smart to check out which room you order - those on the street side are very open for noice from party people on two bars near by. The best view over the pacific are from the two apartments over the receiption. You get new towels every day, but the department is cleaned only once a week. Simple but ok breakfast in the receiption. You may rent bicycles and car parking. There is free street parking outside, but you may have to park some streets away because it is popular for the surfers to park as close to the beach as possible. We stayed there for a week, late mars/early april - sunny every day with a gentle breeze from the pacific, ca 20˚C. Super for us nordic people. Will be warmer later on. We recomend this hotel for all open minded, relaxed people. (The hotel has a soul.)

Close to the ocean, amazing views, really great rate for our off season trip. Would certainty stay again. Room lacks some minor amenities but is very clean and very cozy. Parking can be tough, just plan to walk a few blocks for a free spot and you will be fine.

Definitely a great location, walking distance to bars and restaurants. It's very clean but the rooms have the bare minimum, bring your own blow dryer! It can get noisy at night if your neighbors come home tipsy from the bars, it is an older building and noise travels. Overall we were very happy with our stay and the customer service.

Hotellet ligger på stranden, er fint, rent og har god service. Verdt pengene!

Wir haben das Pacific View Inn gebucht, weil es das günstigste direkt am Pacific Beach in San Diego war. Preis war trotzdem noch heftig, aber wir wollten direkt am Beach schlafen. Hotel ist neu renoviert. Zimmer sind sehr klein, aber süß. Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Fernseher, Kaffeemaschine vorhanden. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Gibt morgens Kaffee und richtig leckere Donuts. Gerne wieder. Kleiner Nachteile: gibt nur wenig Parkplätze, die extra Kosten.

Fantastic location, right on the beach. Would stay again.
