Excellent facility and seemed very kid friendly although I was traveling alone for work at the University of Michigan. The place is close to the RIDE and Michigan Flyer (DTW Airport) stops. All of the staff were particularly friendly and eager to help. One of the night shift staff (Antony) even offered a ride to the nearest Michigan Flyer stop because it was raining.

Hilton Garden Inn is conveniently located, new property, great pool for kids, good work out area including free weights and machines, nice business room with 3 or 4 computers, 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate, and very nice rooms. The breakfast could be improved on as they were short staff and food for the volume of customers and price of the meal although they deeply discounted our check. This is a definite return for us.

Great Location, Nice Room, easy access to everything we wanted to do.

It was very nice and comfortable. The restaurant wasn't open for lunch on Saturday and the breakfast in the morning is quite expensive.

This hotel was a great value! Much nicer and newer than the price would indicate! Excellent!!!

This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel and find it enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, very helpful staff, I will stay here again

The hotel was impeccably maintained--indistinguishable from new. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The hotel didn't feel luxurious, but it was up-scale.

My wife and I spent two days in Ann Arbor visiting our son who attending the University of Michigan. The school was just a few miles down the road (direct drive with no turns). Being within walking distance of the mall and surround restaurants was a nice convenience. The hotel itself was very nice and clean. The bar and food area was very nice as well. We did not have any little kids with us on this trip, but it is very kid friendly with an indoor pool that was getting plenty of use (despite the fact it was 30 degrees outside). The only thing that I can say about the hotel was that the pillows were way to soft for my personal taste. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit my son in Ann Arbor (I will just bring my own pillow).

Our 3 year old loved the pool, and the pantry was very convenient. Overall, a great, clean and new hotel.

Very enjoyable

We stayed on a busy Saturday night and were a bit overwhelmed with the crowds of kids everywhere. The pool area was busy every minute it was open. The lobby also seemed to be hosting some sort of kids birthday party. Overall, a lovely and new hotel, but we were not expecting it to be so full of kids.

Great hotel; service was excellent. Location was perfect for our venue.

The hotel was very clean and in good shape. The internet was fast and free. Close to a shopping mall, and plenty of restaurants in the area.

Everything was first class. However the room itself was a little small. There was not much room to walk by the beds. I suppose it's just a problem with the design. But, it isn't very convienient.

Overall, the hotel was great but if you have kids and visiting the area you should not miss this hotel. The pool is fantastic. Our kids had a great time, the did not want to leave.

We liked the hotel. It was clean and modern. There is quick access to any area in Ann Arbor. We did not use the indoor pool, but it looked nice. My biggest complaint is the fact that there were very few cable options. No movie channels, and no option to rent movies. We often like to come back to our room and relax by watching a movie. Instead we were stuck watching bad reality TV. Unless their cable improves, we'd opt for the Marriott across the street, which is just as nice.

The front desk was warm and wonderful. The accommodations were very nice and clean, beds comfortable. We had 2 rooms. One room, the toilet had to be manually set each time. The chain would come of the handle in the tank. They were supposed to be adjoining rooms but they were just next to each other. My adjoining room went to someone elses room. The food was excellent but there was confusion as the waitress told us the plates are on the side for the breakfast buffet. When you go to the food area, the hotel manager is just loading plates with items and taking orders. You don't know if you are to place an order with him so he can give you food or wait for him to get out of your way. After a few minutes he finally said he would take the order and bring it to us. A waitress bright our food 10 minutes later. We seen her 3 minutes later to drop of the bill, but she never returned to pick it up.

I originally booked for an overnight stay for my birthday, but called the front desk to see if I could bring my children (who were not staying that evening) to the pool before my check in. The staff were kind enough to put a note in my reservation and I was able to bring them to swim in their great pool before heading out for my birthday dinner. Thank you so much! Room was very clean, front desk staff were great. This was a second stay for me and I would definitely go back again.

Very nice place, but we could hear the trucks on the highway all night, and that kept me up a bit. Also, we left a tablet charger there. We called a few hours later to say that we had left it there, were promised a call back. That call has still not happened. They were 'kind' enough to call our room several times to make sure that 'everything was well', interrupting us watching our movie, but they failed to get housekeeping to let us know if they had recovered our charger or not.

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN, THE BED COMFORTABLE, AND WE REALLY LIKED THE SHOWER.

This was our 4th time staying here in the past 3 months - you could say we really like it! Each time it has been very clean, fresh-smelling, and the staff has been friendly and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful with just about every option you could want, and we appreciate the fresh coffee that's available all day, as well as cookies in the aftenroon/evening. The pool is great for kids with many activities to do, and the hot tub is large enough for at least 15 people comfortably. We'll continue to stay here when we're in the area!

We arrived in the evening and were promptly greeted at the front desk. The check in was done quickly. The first room that we were given the lock mechanism did not work, I went down to the front desk and they made note of the issue and quickly gave us a new room (less than 5 minutes). The room was large and clean, we had the two queen sized beds and found them quite comfortable. There was also a mini fridge in the room and a coffee maker. The hotel had a big pool area, which was throughly enjoyed by the kids. It does not have a complementary breakfast, however it does have a restaurant that serves cold and hot breakfast. The cost range in price from $3.95 (cold) to $9.95 (hot and all you can eat). The eggs in the hot breakfast is made to order (omelete was fantastic). There is a mall across the street for those who like shopping. The only downside is there are no outside restaurants in walking distance, however there are several within a 5 minute drive. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Ann Arbor.

Excellent! Very good service and clean comfortable hotel.

The bar closes a little early and it's not close to downtown Ann Arbor (but nothing is). These are the only bad things I have to say about this hotel. Everything was great and the staff was friendly. Joe, the bartender, stayed open late so that a few of us could watch the MNF game with a drink in hand. Super clean and it is across from a mall and plenty of restaurants so that is a plus.

Great loacation and a very well layed out facility. The only problem is I could here the people one floor up walking around

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, staff was great, and the pool was a big hit for our little kids. My only concern was the slippery cement around the pool, I would recommend pool shoes or socks.

Our visit started off with us walking into a well-lit, fresh smelling, pristine lobby that was nicely decorated. The check-in was easy and the desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was super clean with top-notch bedding and great bath towels. Having mini fridge and microwave were great. Service at breakfast was very good despite being overwhelmed by a larger than expected crowd, and food was excellent. The pool was loved by our kids with the zero-entry kids area, fountain sprays, hotel-provided water toys, and large hot tub. The only downside was the area around the pool was very slippery. Nice towels in the pool area as well. Overall great stay from start to finish!

This brand new hotel is just beautiful with Frank Lloyd Wright inspired decor, lots of natural wood and rock, natural and soft lighting. Fresh and clean smelling throughout the entire hotel. Nice size room with high ceilings making it feel even larger. High quality bedding and large, super soft towels. Staff very kind and professional. Great breakfast. Easy access off of highway and walking distance to large shopping mall. Will definitely stay here again!

First time at a Hilton. I loved the hotel.

A nice hotel with big rooms and nice facilities. Nice to have snacks and coffee throughout the day. The location is not the most convenient - as one must really have a car to get downtown, and the hotel staff didn't seem to be that knowledgeable about buses. Still a very nice place.

If the hotel had been anywhere other than in the middle of the freeway it would have been fine. Unfortunately, it was in the middle of the freeway and it was a night of trucks and cars that felt like they were about to change lanes in your room. Loud and noisy all night long.

We enjoyed our stay and will use this hotel on our next trip to Ann Arbor. The rating on "cleanliness" was a minor issue with a shampoo cap left in the shower drain.

i was so fortunate to be there for my birthday. the hotel was brand-new and I enjoyed the never before used room and pool and exercise room and dining room. All the staff were highly professional and very out-going and helpful. the food was delicious, the room was super clean, the facilities were five star... thanks for this great place.
