Hotel Van Gogh - אמסטרדם

Pretty typical small, European hotel. Room compact, but serviceable. Few frills, but the location is reason enough to choose this property. Physical arrangement is unusual, but interesting. One side of the building is a more-or-less traditional hotel; the other side is a hostel, so the guests tend to be distributed by age to one side or the other.

Excellent location! Great deal on breakfast. Helpful staff. A little pricey.

this hotel truly made our stay in amsterdam! we loved being in the room almost as much as being out, as we had a huge window that looked onto back yards and beautiful trees and gardens. very clean very comfortable and fantastic bathroom. amazing!

too much money for....strangely shaped room.TOO SOFT A BED..i literally rolled out of it. plastic breakfast (fast foolish) for 5 euro. to see the museum...great location but for anything else too far.

Hotel and hostel. I had a single room but I think there are hostel rooms as well. The single room was good. Small but clean and well kept. You can't beat the location. Would stay here again.

This Hotel was fantastic. Stay here if you want a safe area to stay in. It's not particularly close to the red light district so if that's the kind of trip you're looking for don't stay here, however if you want to see the museums, walk around the pretty canal streets then this is a great place for you to stay. Breakfast was really good and good value for money at 5 euros. I would certainly stay again.

This hotel is absolutely great if you are wanting to stay in a convenient location in Amsterdam. The Van Gogh museum was virtually on our doorstep, and the Rijksmuseum not much farther afield. It's also a short walk from one of the more central tourist parts of Amsterdam. The room was very clean, although strangely we had two single beds rather than one, but this was fine. The staff upon arrival were very friendly, although I found in the mornings when we went to check out or ask a query, there didn't seem to be anyone at the front desk so you had to wait. All in all, enjoyed our stay, and would probably stay there again.

The hotel is very well located. Rooms are ok, nothing luxury but the bathroom is very clean and updated. Breakfast is not included, but it's very cheap (only 5 euros). Rates published on Internet do not include local tax (about 5%), so just be prepared. Overall, it's ok. Maybe a little pricy if you travel alone.

Hotel was a good spot for your money. Right in the middle of the Museum/Fashion Districts, but a good 15-20 minutes walk to the center of Amsterdam. Hotel appears to be a hostel/hotel, but the rooms are nice, clean and breakfast is only €5. Only real complaint is that the employees working behind the desk were extremely rude while we were checking out. Asking them how frequent the trains to the airport are and if we could get the luggage room key to put our bags in, was like asking them to run a marathon.

Hotel Van Gogh is wonderfully located very close to the 3 major art museums in Amsterdam. We were able to reach it from the airport by train to Amsterdam Central and then tram to the Van Gogh Museum stop. From there the wonderful Dutch residents helped us find it. The hotel is not being well maintained regrettably. Our room was cold the first night even with the climate control on high. We found the next day that one of the windows does not close all the way so whatever the temp outside became the temp in the room. Our commode often ran after flushing and took several tries each time to get it to reset. The manager did bring up a portable heater that amply helped heat the room. Our friend also staying in the hotel had to be moved the first night becuase of a commode back up. We stayed 4 nights and room service never happened before about 1530 in the afternoon. The breakfast is a very good value. The hotel is close to the tram stop for the Van Gogh museum but also shares a court yard with a local primary school. That means you will have the sounds of playful children outside your window in the morning.

Recently refurbished hotel in museum district of Amsterdam. Very helpfuland friendly staff and breakfast excellent value

The room is small but very clean and renovated. The problem was the bed that is a mini bed. The buffet breakfast in the lobby for 5 euros is great and the people from the breakfast area very friendly. The location is great!

ゴッホ美術館から通りを挟んでわずか５０ｍ(美術館からは１００ｍほど)，新装なった国立博物館も５分の位置にあり美術館を訪れるには非常に便利。ホテルの前は幼稚園があり大勢の子供たちが歓声をあげて遊んでいたが，窓から緑の木々が見える奥の部屋では静かでした。部屋にはアメニティが全くなくシャワー室の壁にシャンプーが取り付けられているだけ。毎日のベットメーキングは杜撰なもの。タオルは大きなもの３枚だけで何故か２枚だけ交換。フェイスタオルやハンドタオルはなく不便。６泊して美術館巡りを楽しんだがホテルからの出入りの際、いつもＰＣに向かっていて挨拶しても目をちらりと向けるだけ。私だけでなく他の宿泊客にもそのような態度。入り口から誰か入ってきても見ようともしない。今後あまり利用したくないホテル。

Det var verkligen en glad överraskning, jag kan rekomendera den har Hotell till alla som vill ha en trevilg vistelse i Amsterdam.

we kregen als vergissing een kamer die nog niet gekuist was dus dat was minder aangenaam. De vergissing werd echter snel opgelost en voor de rest verliep alles goed.

chambre spacieuse et très agréable! peinture Van Gogh en guise de décoration!! Salle de bain confortable avec douche très spacieuse!!! je recommande cet hotel pour son confort, sa propreté, son calme!!

Small hotel, partly hostle in good location to good price. Ended up in a very small room but worked fine. Nice bathroom. Only slightly nocie from visiting students Friday night, I can coop wit that. Easy access with trams both from central station and fo Rai congress centre.

Litet hotell med mycket bra läge nära museum, shopping etc. Rent och prydligt på rummet. Enkelrummet var i minsta laget men fungerade. Frukost till bra pris. Personalen var mycket trevlig och kunde hjälpa till med förslag på aktiviteter etc

Die Lage ist super! Mit dem Bus 197 kommt man direkt vom Flughafen ins Hotel. Wenn jemand die Museen besichtigen möchte, ist die Lage einfach perfekt! Das Zimmer ist klein aber fein. Das Frühstück hatte was aus einem Hostel...Die Hotelgäste waren eher jung, unter 30...Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir zufrieden mit dem Hotel.

lidt ireterende at morgenmad skulle tilkøbes på stedet til 5 eur. pr måltid, som er en meget rimelig pris. 2X blev vores håndklæder skiftet med 2 andre ikke helt rene - ikke i orden. De var vaskede men ikke rene. Ellers god service fra receptionen - pæne værelser som godt kunne bruge 1 skab mere når man overnatter 1 uge.

O hotel de forma geral eh mt bom!!! Fica numa excelente localizacao e com excelentes opcoes por perto!!! O quarto eh bem pequeno, mas eh bem confortavel, com ar condicionado, tv de plasma!! O banheiro eh muito bom tambem!!! O unico defeito do hotel para mim foi a falta de educacao e boa vontade dos funcionarios! Sempre de cara fechada e com super ma vontade em tentar ajudar em situacao basicas da viagem!!!

Hotel wirkt im Eingangsbereich wie ein Hostel, das das gelichnamige Hostel auch den gleichen Eingang hat.. Die Hotelzimmer sind neu gerichtet ; uch das Bad ist neu undrechtgeräumig. Unser Zimmer lag zum Innenhof und damit traumhaft ruhig. Das Frühstücksbufett ist reichhaltig bestückt und sehr zu empfehlen; für einen Preis von € 5 unschlagbar, wenn einen die Hostelatmosphäre nicht stört. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch im Hotel van Gogh!!

Utmärkt läge i lugna kvarter strax intill Van Goghmuseet och Rijksmuseum. Fräscha nyrenoverade rum. Enkel matsal som delas med ett youth hostel i motsatta delen av huset. Bra frukost till rimligt pris.

Apesar de algumas esquisitices, como o pagamento adiantado do café da manhã, ao invés da cobrança no check out, o hotel é recomendável pela localização e pela boa relação do custo com seus benefícios.
