A quite basic but comfortable enough room. Breakfast good.Only 10-15 mins walk from the terminal.

Hotel on a runway

Well, the hotel is not that bad, but it is placed right next to the airport so you can literally do a high-five with any plane taking off or landing at the Hamburg airport. Just put your hand out of the window.

Below average hotel.

Unfortunately the hotel is in need of an upgrade. The breakfast was expensive given there was no hot food, & the noise from landing planes passing overhead was very disturbing until it ended around 23:00.

Hotel could not find my reservation when I checked in I prepaid when I booked at Hotels.com but was charged again by the hotel on the day of arrival.

Disappointing

The Mein Hotel is very convenient for Hamburg airport. It's a plain serviceable hotel without frills which is fair enough. I was disappointed because I booked a single occupancy room with what was described as having twin single beds. Apparently, this actually means one single bed though the lady on reception couldn't explain why. Not that she wasn't as helpful as she could be, she did call the manager to check this discrepancy who explained that in this case twin means one?! The room was small and the bathroom tiny. My biggest problem was that the wifi didn't work and after trying for ages, I had to go to reception to report it and ask what could be done. Sadly, once again, the lady on the reception was as helpful as she could be but couldn't actually help me to get wifi. All in all, my stay was disappointing and I won't be staying there again.

Ankommen nach der Check-in-Zeit

Das Personal war sehr nett und super hilfreich. Ich wurde bei meinem Weg von dem Flughafen bis Hotelzimmer begleitet, wofür ich sehr dankbar bin. Das Zimmer war sauber, die Bettwäsche - frisch. Im allgemeinen war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

God oplevelse

Det var en særdeles fin modtagelse trods reception var lukket i det tidsrum - højst sandsynligt pga Corona. Fin vejledning og adgang til opladning til vores elbil, som har været vores højeste prioritet. Fin morgenmad og service dertil. En lidt spøjs oplevelse med roomsevice hvor stuepigen insisterer på at gøre rent trods vi er sovende eller på vej til udtjekning. Vi havde kun 2 overnatninger.

Leider konnte ich den geplanten Aufenthalt im April nicht wahrnehmen, auf der Corona-Pandemie. Werde daher im September den Urlaub nachholen. Bin schon öfters im Haus als Gast gewesen und kann dieses nur wärmstes empfehlen. Die Lage und der Service sind einfach spitze.
