Great location for ferry but average hotel stay

I had an average stay at EnVue hotel. The staff were friendly at the front desk, but I didn’t have too many encounters with them. In our 3 night stay we had room service come once, but the service was sufficient. We had to track them down the next morning because we had completely run out of toilet paper. My room didn’t have a view at all, but the hotel lobby had a great view of the water and NYC. If you plan on using the ferry to travel to nyc, I recommend this hotel. Ferry entrance is just across the street. There wasn’t much for food selections around, but there was a Dunkin’ Donuts next door. I was disappointed that the hotel itself didn’t have a mini convenience store inside for drinks or small snacks as well as their restaurant was closed.

Nice, clean and great location. Just across the street from NY water ferry that brings you to Manhattan. We asked for a re-stock of some of the room amenities but never got them.

Disappointing attitude!

1. When a room is rented out, your folks should have checked whether the shower is working and the phone is working. I was about to take shower and then had to come to the 6th floor to tell them. No apologies! just called the maintenance folks, and they turned them on, and nobody came to the room to check. 2. The coffee machine was in the closet and did not see it till my 2nd day. The light in the closet was not working, so it was not clear where to put water, and how to put the coffee pod. So not very helpful. 3. When I checked out and was driving out of the garage the bar did not go up. Then message kept saying that the vehicle is already outside. There was no information about the small Help button. SO I had to reverse my car, find a parking spot and go to the 6th floor and told them about it. No apologies and least helpful attitude. I was just told to press the Help button if it happens again, and tell them that you have already paid for the parking. I did not like the attitude of your staff at all. Very pethatic!

The last two times I've stayed there had issues, one back in Nov. where they were supposed to get back to me and never followed through even after they sent me an email letting me know they would. This time had to call maintenance twice due to our toilet getting backed up, besides a few flaws the hotel is a get and we do enjoy it, the front desk is always very kind and friendly surroundings. That won't stop us again from staying there again, little things can be fixed. Thanks

It took 10 minutes to check-in as there was nobody at the front desk. Sat down at the lobby lounge for 30 minutes and did get a waiter to stop by. Spoke to the restaurant check-in and asked for a waiter and still nobody stopped by. We then left to go to a restaurant down the street. On a final note, the hotel has no breakfast service. I would not stay here again.

Room was great. I liked the that there were some technology worked into the room amenities. Not so great was that there was no soap nor a complimentary bottle of water for the stay. View was great. Overall, a great experience.

The views from this property is amazing , my husband enjoyed his birthday weekend here and the city is right just 8 minutes away on the Ferry
