Whole experience was fab! Asked the staff if they could possibly set up a little surprise for my friend’s birthday on arrival to our apartment and I only expected chocolates and a balloon but they had also put up some banners too. You guys went above and beyond (literally) haha so thanks so much, she really appreciated it! The bed was super comfy and although we didn’t have the longest night sleep (as we were out having a boogie and trying to have as much energy as 20 years olds) the sleep we did have was lovely and relaxing. The area was quiet and there was a garage across the road with a Marks and Spencer’s where we could pick up some snacks. We loved the whole layout of the place. The kitchen came in handy and the tv had Netflix so we sat and watched Friends while we had a coffee before we checked out.

Extremely rude receptionist

Very nice accommodation. Everything about it was good apart from the woman at the reception was extremely rude and made us feel like we were not welcome at all. When we arrived at the check in time there was a note on the door saying only call during emergency and if not an emergency we get fined £50. We didn’t know if it was a big enough emergency! We rang the bell and eventually got in and she was very very rude.

Decent place to stay

The good: Good location ideal walk from the royal mile, good sized apartment, had everything we needed. The bad: The bed was very uncomfortable. Had to pay extra for parking. This was not advertised.

Excellent visit

Great place as a base to explore Edinburgh. Easy check in, very helpful and pleasant manager. Basic flat but everything you need, we only stayed 2 nights but could have stayed longer and been quite comfortable, only drawback is the shower pressure which is extremely slow. I would recommend Canon Mill Aparthotel and will use again when we're next in Edinburgh.

Email communication regarding key collection was very clear and helpful. Appartment was spacious and generally clean, more detail to cleaning in the bathroom advised however. On-site free parking and location in the city excellent.
