Great stay

Good location. Didn’t need to use public transport, walked everywhere. Nice bar. Room was an excellent size for two people. Would visit again.

Horrible experience

To sum it up horrible. I arrived from the states for a two day trip. I planned to sleep until late so I can overcome the jet lag but unfortunately I was woken up at 8am in a war zone under my window(r191).there was a construction site and heavy drilling below my window I wasn’t aware of. The next day even though it was Saturday the scene released. That completely ruined my trip. I spoke to guest services -3 different persons, 3 different times and no one date to come back to me with any sort of formal apology, room change or compensation as this is unacceptable by all hotel policies. One of the guest service people I talk to was ever laughingly smiling at me. 0 respect for this property and the stuff. I demand compensation as I payed $400 per night for a room that smelled like mold( I expressed that too at the hotel ) I also took video with the horrifying sound but I’m unable to upload video file here.

Great stay

Overall I had a great stay - the room was clean and very modern, the staff were all so helpful and welcoming, I even used the gym which was great. The only downside for me was the fact that my room had an adjoining door and I could hear everything from the room next door which kept me awake throughout the night.

Ok

Room was ok. Check in and check out was really slow. Stuck in a queue for 10-15 minutes. The problem with having a glass wall for the bathroom is when you get up during the night and turn the light on it wakes up your partner. Wouldn’t stay again.

Great location, lively hotel

Great location, nice comfortable beds. Service not quite like before Covid.. barkeeper asked me what is in a Kir Royal, rooms are not cleaned unless you ask for it during your stay.. but I would recommend the hotel and will stay there again.

Tiny room too small and claustrophobic

Very disappointed in my room - although it was clean and very modern it was tiny, and certainly wouldnt have been ok for 2 people. The shower head was too low down and the cubicle claustrophobic - I booked 2 rooms and my colleague got a big room with large walk in shower and separate toilet so not sure why I got the room I did as I booked and paid for them both!

Nice stay, great location, comfy bed

It was nice. I would stay again for work, it’s very close to my office. The bathroom could have been cleaner when I arrived but wasn’t bad enough to complain about I thought the room service menu was quite restrictive. I didn’t enjoy what I got but room service is always hit and miss and I only needed it once. The bed was really comfy & the room temperature control worked!

Very nice hotel but with average restaurant

Hotel itself is quite nice. Room is spatious and breakfast is great (though service is a bit slow). But the real disappointment was dinner in the restaurant. Do not order the ribeye which was low quality and chewey (for an hefty £33!). Better off having dinner somewhere else.
