So, so meh hotel

I used the Hotels.com site to book our room; I was searching for rooms that would sleep 3 adults. When we arrived at the hotel and checked in everything seemed normal except for the man behind the counter staring at 3 adults walking up to our room. We were surprised to find a room that had a single bed in it so we went back downstairs and the first response we got from them was "we were taking bets on when you'd be back down here." To them the issue was something that should have been shrugged off because we "booked online." To add insult to injury they also had initially planned to charge an additional $20 for a room suitable for 3 adults but them decided to make it a wash and asked us to tip the maid. The room itself was nice and fairly clean, my only complaint about the room was fighting to flush the toilet, you had to flush it at least 3 times in order to get it to be clear for the next person. I am not sure that I would use this hotel again for a stay in Stillwater.

Nice stay

Second time here. We like the historic charm and feel of this place. Quiet and comfortable. Great location in downtown Stillwater.

Would not recommend

I was disappointed with the decor of the room. Nothing went together. The lock on the balcony door didn’t work so the only security on that door was a cheap chain. When I mentioned it to the check out person, she said they had just fixed it. The tv in the room was very small. Not worth the money.

Great old school hotel. Lots of cool history. Decent breakfast in the restaurant. Rooms were on the smaller side but nice and clean and well kept.

Loved the breakfast and location. I know it’s an older, classic type of hotel, but I was disappointed in the deluxe king room. We got a handicap accessible room and the shower stall leaked out into the bathroom. Was expecting a little more lounging room based on photos. Great staff.

Our perfect overnight stay

The Lowell Inn is a wonderful old-style hotel with lovely, classically decorated and furnished rooms. Our bed was really big and comfortable. The shower was powerful and had plenty of hot water even late in the morning! The adjacent parking ramp was very convenient and offered validated parking by the Lowell Inn. The hotel’s check-in and check-out processes were fast and simple. The hotel’s location in downtown Stillwater was just a short walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants. Our short stay at the Lowell Inn was just perfect!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The Lowell Inn was a beautiful place with old time charm. Within walking distance to lots of shops and places to eat. We will definitely visit Stillwater again and stay at the Lowell.

Wish you offered a non dairy milk so vegans could enjoy oatmeal and such. Even dinner menu vegatable dish did not list cheese but it was added. The meal was great with just screenings of the cheese. Non dairy meals can be quite important to those with certain medical conditions.
