Very friendly staff. We arrived very late due to flight delays and they gave us a free upgrade. Would stay again.

Disappointed no fridge snd no microwave. Parking was an additional $50 per night! Way to expensive when you are already paying almost $400 a night!

A Hotel to remember

This hotel is absolutely wonderful. The entrance, main hall, and Boulevard restaurant were very luxurious and inviting. The suite I stayed in had an amazing view off the balcony. I was impressed with the interior design, from the bedroom, kitchen, to the living/dining room. I do wish the bathroom matched the aesthetic of the whole suite, it was par. I also must mention the shower head was rather low on the wall, and for tall people like myself it was a bit inconvenient. Nonetheless, The Sutton Place is hands down, the most marvelous hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff are outstanding at what they do, are always friendly and invting. The Boulevard kitchen blew me away, they craft amazing dishes. I dined in for breakfast twice, and ordered room service one night. All my meals were beyond delicious. Highly recommend this property.

We stayed at the Sutton as a recommendation from family who live in Vancouver, and stayed there for a function. We had a top floor, spacious room with a great view both during the day and evening. The room was clean and very comfortable bed.

Good location- Pricey parking

We had a renovated 1 bedroom because the rooms that aren't renovated are very dingy. You do however have to pay an extra $35 for the renovated room. Self parking fee has increased significantly to $50 plus taxes of over $9. Almost $60 to park one night is ridiculous. The location is excellent, walking distance to many downtown venues.

Nice hotel, clean , comfortable, in close proximit

We really enjoyed the location of the Sutton Hotel. We were really disappointed when we found out we’d have to go over to the Sheraton to use the hot tub in the pool. I felt that this should’ve been disclosed when we booked the hotel. It was chilly and rainy during our 2 day stay in Vancouver. Most people aren’t going to want to walk to the Sheraton to use their facilities and then walk back through the wet , cold rainy weather. Other than that, the room was quite nice and comfortable. The view was gorgeous, but the check in was a little bit tricky. Hard to understand the staff behind the counter. I do think, that the Sutton hotel should provide free breakfast for their guests if they don’t have a hot tub, and a working pool.

Good location

Terrific choice for our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sutton Place Hotel in downtown Vancouver. The location was great, amenities were excellent, everything was very comfortable and clean. And we had a terrific view from our suite, which was really nice. I was unaware that we would have to pay for parking, but I guess that is to be expected in a city.

Room was clean and up to par. Tv program selection could be inproved with a few movie chanels. Steep price to pay to rent movies that are quite old.
