Doubletree by Hilton McLean Tysons

This was the 2nd worst hotel I've stayed at in the last 17 years. (And mind you during that time I have stayed at over 100 hotels all over the US and the world.) The entire lobby area is under construction. I paid for an executive room and was given a standard. The walls are so thin that I heard every conversation, song, intimate act the entire night. And I mean the ENTIRE night. It felt more like I was spending the night at a frat house vice a hotel. I found both the lobby and my room to be dirty. Also, note the shuttle bus is not clearly marked. You need to look for a bus with the sign Wally Park on it. The only plus was the free cookie they give you. Given the option of sleeping at the Newark terminal or in this hotel, it's literally a toss up.

Hotel was fine but the price was absurd. Shower head was poor, couldn’t get a good stream of water. 3 in room but only coffee service for two. Good location close to restaurants and Metro.

Staff were professional and the room clean. Just wish we'd read our fine print more carefully. Our room rate didn't include a microwave or breakfast.

Great stay and price for location and quality.

Rooms were modern and clean. Beds were firm and comfy. One issue was it would be nice to have a little microwave as I’ve seen in other comparable hotels. Also for Hilton Honor members the front desk gives cookies and water which was great and welcoming! However I would suggest to offer plain chocolate chip cookies instead of ones with walnuts as unfortunately my kids had a nut allergic and accidentally eaten a little of the cookie with walnuts. Besides that, all good. I’d recommend to others.
