Holiday Inn Portland-By the Bay, an IHG Hotel

I had to stay there for a week. So i asked for a room with a view. We had two rooms, looking over a parking lot. Next,no hot water then hot water after 10 min, then it lasted just long enough till you got in the shower,the final day extremely hot water. No food or coffee in the morning. The restaurant never opened up. we waited till 7:15a.m. nothing no staff. My window was broken held with tape. It was the wrong size for the original frame so there was a 1/2" gap for the air to come through. as i wondered why my drapes were flying around. Told staff, didn't change my room or even check on it. Extremely disappointed. Room 305

We stayed one night, we have stayed here 6 times before. Our room was newly renovated, with the gorgeous bay view. Checkin was easy and the concierge was helpful and courteous. Great location within Portland!

Loved the cleanliness and felt very safe given how empty it was at a time of pandemic! Great breakfast too! Love the largetvs. Outdoor havelike moreinfo on local restaurants open for takeout.

I have stayed at this hotel many times before for conferences. This time it was conviently located near the hospital where I would be having surgery. This hotel is always clean, the front desk staff is always friendly & helpful. The rooms are comfortable & there is on site dining and room service.

Bevin was extremely kind, respectful, informative, and overall professional! The hotel itself was extremely clean and quiet. Everything you need is within walking distance. I would highly recommend staying here again!

I've stayed here before. The location is excellent. The pool is very nice. It is a nice 3 star hotel, comfy bed an good cable. It is worth getting a room with a view. Parking is convient, an 10 bucks a night. Be aware they are renovating the upper floors. Noise starts about 9:15 am till late afternoon. I will stay here again.

The location was excellent and the cleaning staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Did not like that we had to pay additional for parking.
