Glasgow Marriott Hotel

Average really. Sort of expected a little bit more from Marriott. The hotel is looking in need of tlc. The Hilton next door is better value for money.

Brilliant

Was very annoyed I did not get notice that the leisure centre was closed. Nothing in the room with details of how to work tv or maid service etc etc. Paper cups in the room which were not replaced nor was tea/coffee, toiletries, tissues or toilet roll. When u get a meal you are supplied with one tiny square pkt salt and pepper, a tiny sachet brown / red sauce Etc, for a Marriott it is shocking, if you require more you need to keep pestering the waitress ☹️ The staff were very nice and the room was ok. Will not stay again, nor a nice area 🧐

Reception area is stunning, but rooms were a bit old fashioned. Room was very warm and air conditioning not working. Toilet was very noisy, with a very squeaky door. We were pleased to see security - however they perhaps were a bit OTT in their approach to people on a busy Saturday night. We stayed as attending a function but have to be honest not sure we would again. Drink very expensive and service not great, our first experience of Marriott did not make us want to rush back. But it was okay

All staff are excellent and could not do enough and genuine.

Staff were lovely, very polite and helpful. But this was the coldest hotel I have ever stayed in from the public areas to the bedrooms.

It was built in 1982, so says a plaque at the building.. Doesn't appear to have been updated. My room was very dark. The windows, throughout, aren't sealed very well, in other words, it's loud. On the upside,the club sandwich in the bar area was very good.

I liked checking in before the official Time and 12 o'clock checkout. Pool needs some refurbishment looks dated,but everthing works fine.

Great weekend at the Marriott hotel Glasgow rooms nice and clean ,staff just lovely highley recommended

It was for my 2nd Anniversary with my wife and we enjoyed the stay would recommend it to anyone
