Courtyard by Marriott Wilmington / Wrightsville Beach

The staff here are amazing and very helpful. The property is run down. The toilets won’t flush, the beds are hardly made which I found cracker crumbs from the people prior to my stay. You can tell when property owners only care about the money they’re making and not the overall. My recommendation would be just stay somewhere else. A lot of the locally owned smaller hotels In the area are ran by people who care about cleanliness. I think I even had to pay over $100 for this property. Would never stay again and would never recommend it. You’re welcome for my hundred dollar donation.

Roaches in the room. The bed was so uncomfortable, felt like sleeping on rocks.

The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and very nice. We will stay here again on our next trip.

It was just okay. Clean, nice staff. The second night I got into bed to find a spider crawling across my face and bit my forehead. Knocked it to the floor and killed only to find another one crawling on the nightstand. They did give a different room when I went to the front desk.

A bit of a let down. Sheets for pull-out bed stank. Cockroach in bathroom on its back but alive. It was there for several hours. When we returned in the evening it was gone. I don't know if it left on its own or was removed. Asked for trash bags, but didn't get them.

Stay was amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout. We did have the issue of the big waterbugs but it's to be expected in the damp south. Can of bug spray worked wonders. I would recommend an exterminator around the mulch and bushes in the courtyard area. And it would have been nice to have the fire pit working just for the ambience. Overall it was a great, relaxing stay. Will stay again definitely.

The room was fine. The one problem/issue we had that no one came to change our towels, change the trash, give us more coffee or cups, and no timer paper. Pretty much no housekeeping came by our room but when we asked the housekeeping lady that was closer to our room for supplies we were told that our room was already done but we knew it wasn’t.

All was great. Just as advertised. Very clean throughout the facility.

Nope. The hotel had a cracked bathroom sink and rusted door hinges. In addition the room was not clean, as in Marriott standard clean. The somewhat condesending staff who are for sure staff... Look elsewhere for vacation stay.

10 mins drive from Wrightsville beach. Very close to restaurants, Walmart and Costco. Hotel is very decent for the price.
