Sonesta Hotel Arequipa

Beautiful hotel. Amazing room. Very high quality mattress. Amazing staff. Amazing food and drinks. One of the best hotel experiences of my life and ive stayed in over 300 different hotels. 5 stars overall. Only downside is location. Nothing much to do in walking distance. However the hotel has all the amenities one could want. Free breakfast is also amazing, omelete, bread, ham and cheese platter, cereal and yogurt, fresh natural fruit smoothie. Amazing fruit bowl. Fantastic coffee. I never leave reviews for hotels however this one deserves a full review. Exceptional in everyway. One could not ask for anything more.

They had an amazing customer service, specially in the restaurant. The staff was amazing and very friendly !!! (Gloria, Fatima, Milagros, Toñito, Nicolas, Ernesto, Andres and Junior) They were always very attractive making sure that we had a great time while we were there, they were always checking up on us making sure that we had received everything with great service. Every day they clean and disinfected the room entirely which I loved specially in this time that everything should be clean thoroughly because of the pandemic. We stayed for 12 days at the hotel in Arequipa and I strongly recommend it, I definitely go back there if I have the chance to stop by Arequipa again

The Sonesta is a fairly new hotel with large rooms and excellent staff. Because of Covid the restaurants were closed, but room service was available. The rooms were very clean and I would stay there again.

Great staff! Breakfast at time , really nice. Comfy bed. Some noise from outside / lack of AC but not too necessary. Good anti COVID precautions.

Not a Good location

Due to Corona virus regulations, a/c was not working but wasn’t informed until we got to the room. Had to ask for a fan. Internet was kind of spotty, they said was because the high volume of occupancy. Almost no hot water in the shower. Food and room service was good!

Buen servicio al cliente. Hotel nuevo. Cuartos de buen tamaño, cama cómoda. Buen desayuno! Protocolos de seguridad anti covid al pie de la letra. Bien ! 👍 Sugerencia: La ubicación del televisor debiera estar mejor centrada con la cama ... sería más cómodo.

Modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Good beds and clean rooms. Nice breakfast. The hotel is not in the city center and you need a taxi to go there but it was not a mayor issue for us, The location of the hotel outside the center is also and advantage when you go on a tour f.e. to the Colca canyon. These tours leave very early between 3 am and 330 am and they will pick you up last and drop you back first given that the hotel is outside of the center.
