Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Wichita East

When i first got there... the man gave me a room and i walked in and someone else was already in the room laying in bed.....crazy! Then... get a second room... the refrigerator was broken and made this horribly loud sound and the only way to make it stop was to hit it so we ended up unplugging it for the night so we could sleep... then.. the heater was messed up or something because it was so loud..it woke us from a dead sleep and that was when we could sleep because the people upstairs had their music so loud and thumping. Called the front desk and he said he would take care of the people .. about 45 minutes later the music was quieter but still loud. Barely slept that night. Got a new room the next day. Tried to use the key...it would not work.. it was blistering cold ..trying to get this key to work.. had to walk around and get a new key... worst experience I've had. Not one time did anyone offer to discount, or give me a free night due to our sleepless night or anything. I mean how do you give someone a room that someone is already in and in bed???????

This place had burn holes and the room wasn’t up to par! We had to get a coffee pot, there was no paper towels or service offered even to get another garbage bag. They didn’t have wood. The bed upstairs was not comfortable and we had to give a $300 deposit when nowhere on the website nor the hotels.com did it say it! This place would have been nice if taken care of! It is run down and the staff is rude! I would not come back here! There are many many other hotels!

Upon check in the 1st room was filthy. Got into another room and it wasn’t any better. This hotel need to get better housekeeping! I literally went inside and cleaned the room before my grandkids arrived. The bathroom was nasty With hair all in the bathtub. The table has smeared food still in it from a previous guest and it smelled. I was upset about the money I paid for such an awful room. If I’d had more time to go somewhere else and the money would have been refundable I would have left nascar fast!!!!

People with children stayed above us, and literally ran around, stomped, banged, and thumped from midnight until 5:45am. We got no sleep. I don’t think there was a phone in room. Bright lights outside came in around curtains. Smoke detector hanging from ceiling.

Good price and location, nice to have kitchenette if needed, good space for a family. HOWEVER, there’s water damage on the ceiling, sticky kitchen floor, curtains are off-kilter, and decades of dust in vents and furnace area. We’ll pay more $ next time for a better hotel.

Very nice suite. Spacious and clean. Only minor complaints- remote didn't work, and coffee got the free breakfast was ice cold, most likely from the previous day. We came in 45 minutes sheet breakfast was supposed to be served and it still wasn't set up. That being said, the rooms were very nice and I would certainly stay there again

The room was old and need to be badly updated. I brought my own towels because the ones the provide was badly worn. Tje location and price was just convent. (I understand better now)

This facility has lots of deferred maintenance. It’s in need of some paint. Very comfortable and clean though. We were sad there were no logs available to use fireplace. Internet was rather slow. Otherwise nice to have full sized kitchen and price was great!

There was an incident involving theneedto call the front desk and the police
