FF&E Hotel Carlton

The staff is extremely polite, but the WiFi wasn't working and the rooms were a bit too hot, overall it's a decent hotel but not for this price.

FF&E Hotel Carlton March 2020

Hotel was basic, staff friendly, breakfast good, wifi didn't work, room basic and old fashioned, but very clean. WC and shower along corridor. For the price it was good. My only complaint was noise from outside, as it was Saturday night and there were people being people until the early hours. Lots of bars nearby if that's your thing.

Great loaction

Great stay in a lovely hotel. Breakfast was ok nothing special. The hotel in a great loaction and I woukd stay again

I thought there was a private bathroom in my room but there were a few share-bathroom on 2nd and 4th floor. As a female traveler, I didn't feel safe and secure when I need to share bathroom with the others.

HotelCarlton, Dortmund

Asked for breakfast box which they said they could do as i was leaving early and they forgot to make it. No hot water coming out of tap in bedroom. Bed was comfy and clean although old.

Internet does not work, noisy location, I found an old pair of socks in my room (not even hidden away, just there in the main area). A crap hotel.

Better than expected

This is a great hotel if you need somewhere to sleep and touch base. Its in the centre of dortmund, super close to HBf and the main shopping area. I stayed in the single room with shared bathroom. There was one night where someone was a little loud, but i was prepared with some ear plugs. Bed was comfortable and the room was warm, room also received turn down service everyday. Showers and toilets were clean and seemed to be attended to every day. The breakfast, although good, was the standard to expect from most German budget hotels. Wifi in my room was not the best and took some figuring out to get it to work. Most of the people reviewing this hotel expect more for the price and clearly think it will get them further in life to complain. I would happily stay here again

Ok budget option.

Good location, nice bar and cafes opposite. Wifi very poor, but breakfast and staff were good. Be careful, economy rooms means shared bathroom/loo.
