Check-in was easy and quick. This is an older property so I was very surprised at how fresh, clean and up-to-date it was. My room was a little small especially the bathroom with only a 28 inch wide door but overall it was plenty good for me. The information on Travelocity told me the pool was closed for construction repairs. The pool looked fine so I think it was actually closed to save cost because of low occupancy due to Covid-19. The one thing that needs improvement is the WiFi. The speed was highly variable ranging from 4 mbps to 23 mbps. So if you have kids that want to play games on the internet, I think they will be greatly disappointed. My room was very comfortable but the best thing of all is they said it was non-smoking and it absolutely was! Not a trace of smoking anywhere. Thank you Sandusky Inn! Yes, the next time I'm in town I'll stay there.

Very clean & comfortable. No frills and would suggest to friends and family for their trips to Sandusky!

There was no hot water in our room and the bath tube would not drain. Any hotel you stay in should at least have running hot and cold water. But the worst part is management knew it and still let us check in. When we brought it to their attention which was pretty quick after we checked in, they first said it will be 20 minutes. Well 20 minutes later they said it will be 40 minutes. They never fixed our water. They said they were under “renovations“ and not all rooms had running hot water. We asked to be switched to a room with running hot water and guess what they declined and said no we could not do that. We ended up leaving this place at 10 o’clock at night and luckily found another room elsewhere in the facility that offered running hot water for showers. And guess what we booked it through a competitor we did not use Expedia. I would hope Expedia would not do that to its customers and allow a motel chain or motel facility or hotel facility to be part of their corporation allowing bookings when there is no hot water. Very disappointing experience.

We went to Cedar point all day. Fine place to just crash.

Very, very small rooms. Smelled a bit strange. If you are trying to just get a couple hours of sleepin it would be ok.

The inn is good for the price. It is not fancy but it has all the basic necessities. They were also very friendly and accommodating.

We just needed a basic room close to Cedar Point for a reasonable price. And thats exactly what we got. The rooms were clean and comfortable. No excessive noise and no one bothered us. I'd stay here again for sure
