Hyatt Place Atlanta Airport-South

One of the worst Hyatt's I've ever seen! It's like they bought a struggling hotel and slapped Hyatt on the outside with no changes made to the inside. The water was cloudy and had black stuff in it. The toilet squeaked and took a really long time to fill up. The room smelled bad. The lights weren't very bright so it looked really dark and dirty like you see on TV at cheap motels.

A surprise my wife for Valentine's day when it set the room up and we stayed she enjoyed the room the room was clean the environment was nice and if you lose they were good I enjoyed staying there with do it again

All staff that were really friendly. One person was extremely clean. She was spending all her free time wiping counters and mopping even though that wasn’t her job. I didn’t mean to stay overnight so I didn’t have toothbrush and toothpaste with me. They got it for me right away and I do appreciate it.

I stayed in a non-smoking room, but the cigarette smell was all over. Plus the remote control was dirty.

Rooms needs updates with more power outlets and lights that actually work, not recommended for business travelers.

This should not be a Hyatt Place in fact I am kind of shocked that the name has not been pulled. I always choose Hyatt Place because of cleanliness and the amount of room for our family of 5. Not only was this hotel in really bad shape it was filthy. From the moment we entered the building I wanted to leave but it was 11 o’clock at night and we were exhausted from travel. I entered our room and immediately began wiping down all items that we may have to touch with our hands. Our towels had hairs on them! I am just amazed with the pandemic we are living in that there wasn’t anymore concern to have a clean property. I never ever leave a bad review but I really want to save someone else from this experience!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean upon check in, but we stayed for 3 nights and never had maid service after the day we arrived. We had to go to the front desk and ask for clean towels on day 2, trash was overflowing in our trash cans, and we ran out of toilet paper by the last day. Not sure I would choose to stay at this location again.

I needed a quick get away to stay away! The location was perfect distance from everything for me. Transportation. Dining. Friends. That’s all I needed for this trip to recharge and the hotel delivered. The staff was very courteous and accommodating even with it being a holiday weekend. I most definitely will stay again!!
