Embassy Suites by Hilton San Diego - La Jolla

First time I visited LA Jolla it was very nice and i like it

I loved everything about our stay. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. They would go above and beyond to make sure you had everything you need for your stay.

I think they should not have charged for the parking garage. I paid $36.00 for the parking garage. Nevertheless, I went back once to the front desk has to call it 3 times from the garage entrance, only to find out it was not working. Next day the garage was not even closed, since it had not been fixed. Very annoying and uncomfortable situation, specially after having just gotten back from Wynn Encore Las Vegas. Also when I ordered to pieces of cake for 18.95 both I ended up paying almost $30, since besides regular tax, they charged service fee and gratuity. Gratuity should not be charged. It says “Gratuity”. Lunch/Dinner Menu very scarce on options. Bath tub has no shampoo / conditioner holder.

$35 Parking per night so that’s where they get you but all contacts were down by text. Premium room for family w 3 kids was great. Free snacks - wish healthier options but great. Breakfast had lots of choices to choose from and outside patio was great with very nice staff cleaning up.

Having to pay for on site parking is silly. Also could use more hot vegan options.

My son and I stayed the night before he moved into his first apartment. The check in was flawless, Babett the General Manager helped us as the next in line. She was wonderfully pleasant, very warm greeting and while another associate finished the check in, she continued to greet us and made sure our needs were taken care of. The room was awesome. Instead of a sofa bed, it had a queen Murphy bed which was so comfortable! We have stayed here several times and this was the best by far. We look forward to, and WILL, staying here any time we are in the area. Since my son lives about a mile from the hotel, I will be staying there often as I plan on visiting him a lot!

The service and cleanliness was great. The bed and pillows were horrible, mattress was lumpy and pillows were flat like you had no pillow at all.

Hotel staff was friendly. Loved being able to use the pool. Rooms were very clean & guest services was excellent. Thank you for making our Covid getaway so amazing!
