Shower was dirty, so much so I did not use it. Staff was notified and did discount the rate.

Dirty rooms. Dust and grime in all corners and mold on walls and ceiling in bathroom. Dirty carpet and couldn’t get air/heater to work properly, called front desk and they said they would send somebody up but they never showed. Just went to sleep to not think about it.

Place was just old looking. Kitchen counter cracked, limited plates, utensils, and pots and pans. Don’t plan on doing much cooking! Alex was helpful.

Recommend

During Covid, expectations have to be realistic. We were thrilled to have the whole pool/spa area all to ourselves for the whole weekend. Super thankful for a room right off the elevator- so I wouldn’t have worry about germs up and down long hallways. But dang that old elevator is loud. Not bad enough to outweigh location to the exit lol

Weekend Getaway

The customer service was excellent. The hotel is a little run down. Beds comfortable. Heated pool not that warm. Old Property. Brown bag breakfast. I have had better rooms for a better price.

Meh.....

I should have read the reviews more thoroughly before booking. Hotel is old and needs to be updated in every aspect. The elevator was not working, maid said it would if you banged on the door, wasn’t even going to attempt that. There was an area in the ceiling in my room that looked like rain damage and would be leaking soon if rain came. I would recommend bringing slippers, wouldn’t put my bare feet on carpet. The restaurant next door has great ambiance and food. That was the delightful surprise!

Horrendous

Where to start? Main elevator at the front desk is broken and looks like it has been for a while. Elevator at the back is 100 yards ( I paced it off) and our room was next to the front elevator on the 3rd floor. The front stair well smelled like a cat had urinated in it and the carpet looked like it had not been cleaned for years. Wanted to take a shower and let the water run enough to half fill the tub. Called the front desk and they said it usually takes at least 10 minutes to get the water to our room. When it FINALLY got there the pipes started a high pitch squeal. I went down while my wife showered to get our "breakfast" of cold biscuits and heard the squeal all the way down the litter box stairs and it was just as loud 3 floors down in the lobby. The tiny bathroom did not have any kind of ventilation making it super humid in the room (once the hot water did get there). When we were getting ready to leave the toilet clogged with just a small amount of toilet paper in the bowl. One good thing is the beds were not that uncomfortable. Would not recommend at all.
