PAL.MAR Hotel Tropical

We loved our stay at the Pal Mar. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to the beach and the Main Street in town. I reserved the suite and it was spacious (the bedroom was, the bathroom is tiny) and decorated so lovely. The kitchenette was fully stocked and you could easily prepare your own meals there if desired. The staff was amazing and so polite and helpful. We used their foldable beach chairs every day and saved some money from having to rent the chairs already on the beach. The bed was comfortable, ceiling fans and AC worked well and we loved our little patio area. Even the little wooden box that held our room Key was charming. It really was a beautiful little boutique hotel. Cons: Noisy. Our room was located right at the entrance to the hotel along the street so we heard every conversation of other guests as the came and went as well as the cars and bar music. The neighborhood roosters will keep you up all night but we used a white noise app on our phone and that helped drown them (and all of the other noise) out. I think the rooms towards the back would be much quieter than ours was. Also, there are no televisions in the rooms (just FYI - not a big deal but thought I’d mention it so you’d know). We would definitely stay here again but would suggest a room towards the back of the property next time.

Clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed rooms. Centrally located. Wifi speeds of approximately 20 mbs.

This is a very modern and chic hotel in the middle of beautiful San Pancho. The hotel is very well-maintained with a spectacular little pool oasis and loungers. If you prefer however the beach is a short 5 minute walk away with perfect ocean waves and temperature. They will even provide you with chairs and an umbrella for free! There is no on site restaurant but many excellent restaurants a stone's throw away. The rooms all have a fridge and they even have unlimited filtered water. Each room has a nice terrace to enjoy a coffee that they also provide. Our room was a smaller room on the street side and yes, you can hear the noise from the street and people talking at reception as well as roosters first thing in the morning but this did not take away from our stay. We were in small town Mexico - there is bound to be some background noise. Nothing a little white noise app can't fix! The staff are all incredible and speak perfect English which was much appreciated. We had a minor sink issue our first night and they bent over backwards to help fix and resolve the situation which they did! Overall a great stay in a beautiful little Mexican beach town!

Fabulous

Fabulous hotel, very highly recommended. Located in a useful (but quiet) part of the town. Lovely pool and stylish rooms. Look no further if you’re staying in San Pancho!

Over good stay

I really liked my stay. By the end of the my stay tho i was over the bugs crawling inro mg room. From under the doors. And the ants attacking anything you place down for 5 minutes. The standard room is a bit on the small size. But it works for a solo traveler. The reception was super helpful and the pool was great.
