Hyatt Place New York City/Time Square

Wonderful hotel. Clean hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this property!!!

I went to check in to this hotel and they wouldn’t let me because I was under 21. I booked it on the hotels.com app and it said nothing about be having to be 21+ to check in but when I got to the front desk and showed him my ID I got turned away without any help of where to go or what to do next. All around I will never be staying at a Hyatt place even when I am of age

Check in was at 3pm, arrived around 3:30 and my room was still not done. Waited for about half hour before i finally went to the desk for them to switch my room which was in front of the elevator and annoying as ever. The room itself was beautiful and clean.

Hotel location is very good, times square , rockefeller, Empire State Building all major attractions are 10-15 min walk. Only part is breakfast is not good and no micro wave oven in rooms , you have to use lifts multiple times to get hot water or warm your food. And cleanliness of the ovens are horrible

The hotel was nice but the conversation from the front desk and housekeeping was horrible...I was there 5 days. I ask two days just to get the restroom clean w/ clean towels and nobody ever came.

Front desk very unprofessional, not welcoming at all, in order to get in to the hotel you need the card key but I was checking in so I could not come inside, apparently a security person is supposed to be there to let you in but he was “away” a long time and I only was able to get in until another guest came out and open the door for me. I’d ask the front desk lady and she was so flat on her respond: “yeah someone is supposed to be there”

Wow, I think we had a bigger room on our cruise. This was more like a closet with a bathroom.

We loved our stay at the Hyatt. Everyone was pleasant and the hotel was clean.
