DoubleTree by Hilton Atlanta - Emory Area

Bathroom was not cleaned. Soap was still in the shower from last visitors. Bed frames had stains.

Windows where broke froze my ass off alll night and the noise was distuebing only one towel and room was not 100% clean sticky spots by the tv

When I arrived, the hotel clerk was gone. After waiting 30 minutes I then found out by other guests in the lobby that he had left the premises. He later pulled up in the parking lot and came in with his bag and food. He told me they had oversold the rooms, had no more, and they couldn’t locate my reservation. He did nothing to try to help, and made contradicting statements. He also had a friend there who became hostile with the guests because we were “taking up all of his time” [the hotel clerks’] while he “needed to have a word with him”.

Whoever stayed in the room before me smoked in the room. The smell of smoke hit me immediately as I opened the door. I thought it was against the law to smoke in hotels? That made the room not enjoyable for me.

Overall just didn’t feel like the place was cleaned properly, service wasn’t too great but location is great.

The hotel is super noisy. The rooms doesn't have any sound proofing. All noises outside can be heard inside the room. I had a hard time sleeping at night. The service is not good. No free breakfast

Eh, it definitely was not the best stay I’ve had. Definitely not up to par with Doubletree Standards! Staff were mediocre at best. Be cautious when booking, the rooms have “cleaned and sanitized” stickers but they definitely were not. Bonus: there were no cookies.

I was very disaapointed the outside of the hotel had spilled fries at the entry and a bunch of leaves. I usually expect more from a Doubletree.

The hotel was full of hookers and drugs. The floor smelt like a skunk was staying there. The room had nothing that wasn’t nailed down. No Kleenex, only a partial roll of toilet paper, no bath mat and no blow dryer. Had two towels and two washcloths. Also, not a single soda/bottled water machine worked. However the personnel at the front desk were very nice and friendly. They apologized for their housekeeping. They were very courteous in calling a cab in the early hours of the morning to get to the hospital both days.
