Howard Johnson by Wyndham Wichita Airport

This is an older property, but I found my room clean and smell refreshed, in Covad-19. Room 228. There was a missing lightbulb over the sink, but water pressure for shower was good. the room faces the highway, so there was highway noise. The next door people threw their bath towels in the hallway. There was no breakfast items at all, even though free breakfast was included in room description.

Very outdated and old, smelled of cigarette smoke. It was just a quick overnight stay was all I needed but I didn’t feel rested. Not recommending

Not Wyndham standards by any means. Checked in at 930 pm and the room was as hot and muggy in the room as it was outside. Not something anyone wants to experience after driving for 7 hours.

When I checked it I noticed that the lobby and rooms looked a bit dated. My son's room was literally from the 1970's. But I'm not paying for style, right? After 3 hours of the AC going, his room smelled strongly of mold and "swampiness." It was then that we found out the hallway doors from the parking lot weren't locked. We had people coming in and out all night, smoking in the hallway and the lobby. I cut short our reservation and checked out the next day. When I said I wanted a refund because of the security issue of the exterior doors, the manager said they understood and that they had requested the doors be locked "for a long time." I was promised a refund.

No elevator, no help getting bags to the upper floor on outside stairs. Filthy floor. Feet were totally black getting from the bed to the bathroom. The dirtiest floor I have ever seen. Informed the manager and he was dismissive. Limited housekeeping. Had to ask for everything. stayed a wk so no coffee], or towels without specifically asking. No breakfast.I understand limiting service due to the pandemic, but somethings should be available. Seems the price remains the same but they have limited amenities and staff.

I liked everything except the burn holes in comforter and ciggarette marks on bathtub. Both can be taken care of easily.

Smoke was overpowering in hallways. Not too bad in the room. Little sketchy for my taste. Looked like drug deals could be going on in parking lot

I just had a blast

Everything was fine. No problems.

The staff decided to do laundry at 1:30 am. When the washing machine was running it sounded like a freight train was rolling through my room. I got up and showered and left the hotel at 3 am.
