Hyatt Regency La Jolla

Staff was awesome. The refrigerator in the room was not working took a couple hours for them to get a replacement. Coffee machine in the room also did not work went down to the guest restaurant got a coffee on the house that was pretty cool. The key card at the gate was not working several times worked OK at the other gate. Water pressure in the shower was very weak there were two heads with both of them on it barely poured out.

Great hotel

There was construction going on during our stay so it was a little confusing on where to park/check-in, but other than that everything was perfect. Front desk staff were very informative and polite, the cleanliness overall was amazing even with the construction going on. We ordered room service and got it delivered to the terrace. The food was amazing along with the server. We had a perfect experience and will be looking forward to staying at this hotel.

Overall, the Hyatt is a great one. Very clean with hospitable employees and a great shops here. The only thing I disliked was they did not mention the pet fee on the website which is $100

Beware that there is a $30 a night parking fee that is not very evident when you book. They were doing construction and we could hear the noise from the ground level up to the 15th floor where we were staying. I was told that they would not be working on Sunday but that wasn’t true and we were awoken to construction noise at 8 AM every day of our stay. It was also a long trek from the lobby to our room. Also beware that the windows open so if you have small children or pets it could be dangerous If you’re on a higher level floor like we were. The shower was also difficult and confusing to operate. I would not stay here again.

It was very quiet with low occupancy rate. The overall experience was quite satisfactory. The entrance was blocked for renovation.

Even though the hotel was under renovation, it was still very convenient and easy and very clean. I liked the outdoor gas fire pits and movie night. I did not like the steep $35/night parking fee though.

Not impressed. This is my third stay. It is definitely not the same and it was quite the disappointment. Clearly, COVID is the excuse to overcharge and cut down on quality of service....you cannot get a decent internet...yet they charge $30/day for parking...... I took pictures of the dusty side tables and desk....

It was during Covid there were safe measures in place just feel bad most of the amenities were close
