Landis Hotel and Suites

If you like sleep, do not stay here. I’ve never stayed in a place that had more sirens, homeless people screaming and truck noise. The bedsheets didn’t fit our bed and the bed is on wheels, on laminate… it moves when you move. The cleaners started moving furniture above us at 7am. My son refused to sleep here again and stayed at his friends. For $500 a night, you deserve better.

After travelling for 5 hours with 2 small children and a teenager, I was so relieved to be greeted by extremely friendly, humorous, and kind staff who wanted to know all about our travels so far. Parking was a breeze, the room was very spacious (we stayed in a 2 bed, 2 bath suite) and very clean! I’m no princess, but I do get grossed out at dirty kitchens and bathrooms and I was so happy to see everything so clean!! My thoughts when first walking through the door to our room were “oh my word, this room is better than I expected for the price we paid!!” I will also mention that we were travelling with our exchange student and needed a room that had 2 full bathrooms and bedrooms that were somewhat private and this room checked both of those boxes. On to the amenities, the kitchen was fairly nicely stocked with a decent selection of cookware; the pool was the perfect temp and the hot tub was big. There was a nice exercise room and we walked to many different restaurants! GasTown was a 30 min walk, Granville Island was a 30 min walk, Robson was a 20 min walk, Stanley Park was a 15 min drive, Nero Waffle (most importantly!) was a 10 min walk! The hotel was a great location! Some very small cons: very slow flushing toilet and hardly anywhere to hang towels in the bathroom, and mattresses were average, if that matters to you. Will I stay here again? Absolutely!!! Would also recommend to families with exchange students or to couples wanting to share a room with another couple!

Beds are comfortable, walkable location. Decent sized unit overall but kitchen area is small.

Amazing space

For the price we couldn’t have asked for better. Clean, bright and great location. Covered patio was amazing.

The room was really nice the stuff also friendly just about parking and network I'm not even check out yet my keycard was expire not even can open the door even the Wi-Fi was cut off too so terrible 😞 will not going back to stay there anymore .
