Not very accessible.

Whilst the hotel was comforable, its position right next to an arterial road made it very noisy outside and not very accessible, due to the road being a dual cariageway.

30 yrds away from a duel carriage way in front , 100 yds away from a railway lline behind that starts at 6.00 a.m and finished at 01.00 a.m room was from the 80's.At 5ft 8 I still had to bend down to shower and this was so completely uncomfortable. cupboards were chipped and broken, marble table was cracked completely down the middle and somehow stuck together. Wardrobe doors were off runners and made the loudest noise. everyone in rooms next to us could here, and we could here them Food was awful....I have been on many holidays with Expedia and this is so the worst...I would look at your choice

great location, nice large rooms, very friendly staff - stayed here twice while in Portugal for work and will definitely stay again :-)

Our stay at your hotel was a perfect way to end our Portugal vacation. It gave us the opportunity to relax one more night by the ocean and get to the airport easily in the morning. Special thanks to Miles at the front desk!!!

Nice holiday here but a couple of drawbacks.

The hotel is nice and clean and the staff were fine and the beach is close but the dinner (which we only had once) was unbelievably awful - they have never heard of vegetarians and after waiting an hour we got pasta with plain sieved tinned tomatoes on it, no vegetables, herbs, seasoning etc. The other meals, which were meat, also took an hour and were inedible. The poor waiter seemed overworked and frazzled and was doing the whole dining room alone. The continental breakfast the next day was fine though. Odd that dinner was so bad as everything else is really nice. It is quite dated decor etc but clean and comfy and our rooms were big. They have a mini fridge and kitchen cupboards but no sink or cooker so it's a slightly odd set up. There is a supermarket in the village 10m away. The pool is lovely, clean and with a shallow ledge for kids. The hotel is right next to a main road. If you are not driving then the pavement into the village (right) and to the beach (left) are terrifyingly narrow along a dual carriageway road with no railing but if you cross over the road ( there is a green man crossing just outside hotel to the left and opposite the village 10m away on the right) the pavement is wider. Lovely having a beach so close and Cascais station is a ten minute walk. Parents with young children and no car will probably just worry about the road all the time though as there are no railings and they are driving at 60 along there.

Not convenient

The Road was closed on arrival and despite speaking on phone took over an hour for last 10 minutes to find the alternate route even when using local taxi.

The hotel staff from the front desk went out of their way to assist me when my wife became ill and had to be taken to a hospital. The service exhibited by all the hotel staff was amazing

highly recommend it

This hotel is located about 7.5 miles from center of Lisbon, which is about 15 min drive. The hotel is beautiful and just across a drive way from Atlantic ocean. We saw sunset in the morning when we stayed there. And we saw fireworks of Lisbon and other two places over Atlantic Ocean on New Year's eve in the yard. It is in between Lisbon and Sintra, so it is in a perfect location. Hotel has a parking place in the yard, which is very safe. The room is spacious and provides a small refrigerator. Staff are nice. I high recommend this hotel if you have a car.

Nice hotel lacked facilities

Bar closed too early, no shop in the hotel, and shops were not nearby.
