This hotel is a COVID testing clinic, so there are sometimes 50 people in the narrow entry lined up to take a test. The keys must be checked in/out with the staff each time you leave, which can be slow and seems insecure. The rooms cannot be securely locked from the inside. The rooms are basic but fairly clean. Very noisy with thin walls.

Very conveniently located next to Damrak/Centraal Station. I had a large room, 2 single beds, and a private bathroom. My view was spectacular as I was on the 3rd floor overlooking Damrak!

Room for improvement

I was given the wrong room for the first night despite being told in writing I would have a different room. My friend also found bed bugs and had a horrible reaction to them. Stairs are really narrow and there’s no lift- definitely would not recommend for those who struggle to climb stairs. Some of the staff were friendly.

Simple and wonderful

Lovely little hotel in the very centre, yet quiet. Simple and unpretentious. Rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and the bathroom was recently redone to great standards. The staff is really wonderful, welcoming and helpful at any time of day and night. It was a while I did not have such a pleasant stay, highly recommended if you are looking for a good service not just flashy appearance.

If you want the Centre this is great

I had one night here - a little old fashioned but it served a purpose - room right in the centre. The staff where very friendly and helpful - I was in a side room so did not have any noise from the main street - I would stay be happy to stay again so that says enough.

Great quiet 4 bed room, friendly staff and really impressive room cleaning. Would really recommend this hotel, was my 7th time in amsterdam and would definitely use this hotel again. In an ideal location so perfect for enjoying amsterdam till late.

The location is incredible!! But this is an old hotel with very thin walls!! The only way I could sleep was with noice cancelling headphones on, you hear every person on the streets below, public transportation and every single person who goes up and down stairs or enters their rooms. Honestly I will never stay here again, it’s worth spending the extra money for a different hotel!!

This hotel was near the station which was good for us, but facilities which are shower, bathroom, light and so on were very old and hard to use.

Bedbugs. After first night switched rooms because of bedbugs, same thing happened in the new room. Have bites all over me, and it caused an allergic reaction, so after day two couldn't even leave the hotel because I was in too much discomfort. Trip completely ruined
