Hampton Inn Houston Hobby Airport

Well, I got to the room, and I always do a bed bug check. The box spring cover was full of mold and mildew so I called the front desk and he said he would change the room. Which he did and the room was nice. But he offered a discount. I never saw the discount end when I called, I was told that I already a discounted room (booked through hotels.com) and they would not discount it any more. To me, the guy should have never offered a discount and it wasn’t available.

Clean place even though the facilities were still under renovations.

The rooms were extremely dirty. Had to have my room switched and the new one was also dirty with a horrible odor.

It was so bad we just left after the 3rd room change. Our first room there ended up being ants in the bathroom. Our second room had mold on the shower curtain, walls and ceiling. The last and final room looked fine but then as soon as we took our masks off we were hit with the smell of mildew. After that we just left. Very disappointed as this is our first time being in Texas with our family.

So I traveled with my children who are 15 and 6. One of the things they really wanted to do was swim. I wanted to relax a little in the hot tub. The pool was dirty and the hot tub was empty and super dirty. My first room did not have hot water so we had to be moved to another room that did have hot water. The people at the front desk were nice.

The room was partially cleaned and the toilet had obviously overflowed. The staff immediately transferred us to another room that was much better. There was no refridgerator or microwave in the rooms.

It was very clean and friendly, I enjoyed my stay.
