A great location! Close to SeaTac airport and a great barbecue restaurant next door. Bed was comfy and the view was nice. Loved the free shuttle service to the airport. Highly recommend!

Good hotel and convenient

Comfortable room. Just wish the bathroom sink area had a door on it.

Such a great property! Not only incredibly convenient to the SeaTac airport, but also restaurants and shopping. Check in was a breeze. Super friendly folks at front desk. Amenities were plentiful - free WiFi, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, breakfast, business center, fitness center, filtered water, etc, etc. Coast Gateway was such a gem to come across and SO GLAD we found them and booked here.

Shuttle problem

Everything was perfect except for the shuttle service. I checked in at 6 PM and asked for a shuttle to the airport at 6 AM the next morning and the clerk heard me and we even talked about needing to be at the airport two hours before my flight which was at 8 AM. I showed up the next morning at seven minutes before six and there was no shuttle I waited till 6:10 and the morning Clerk did not seem to care and told me the next shuttle would be there at 6:20. When I asked the driver what it happened he said the shuttle at 6 AM was full and they couldn’t take anymore. I told him I was present in the lobby at seven minutes before six and it did not seem to matter to him. I just felt the whole thing was handled very poorly and obviously someone was not telling the truth. Otherwise I loved my stay there but this left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Highly recommended as airport hotel

I highly recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay close to SEA-TAC Airport. It's right next to the airport. The shuttle gets you to the terminal in like 7 minutes. And yet, there was nearly no airplane sound inside the room. Great window insulation. We slept very well! We stayed two nights while returning from Alaska. We used the 1-Line train ($6 roundtrip per person, much less than Uber) to get to the downtown Seattle area and visit Chihuly Museum and Pike Place Market. Staff was helpful, efficient, friendly.

A great place to stay except for the shuttle.

The shuttle took 45 minutes to pick us up at the parking garage, when the hotel is only an 8 minute walk away. After waiting 1/2 hr we called the hotel to ask about the delay. The front desk said they would "find the driver." I noted afterward that the desk uses a mobile radio to notify the driver of a pickup but I heard no acknowledgement that the driver had actually received the message. This was the only fault I found at this hotel which was otherwise perfect. One could walk the short distance to the ground level of the terminal on a continuous sidewalk if so inclined. The rooms are tasteful, clean, with fridge, microwave, wall mounted TV and lots of electrical plugs where needed. Beds are comfortable and the A/C unit is very quiet. Airplane noise is muted despite closeness to the terminal. The next door Sharp's Roasthouse restaurant is a truly enjoyable place to eat with an excellent menu. I would stay here agin but courtesy van service needs to be more reliable.
