La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dothan

They were doing a renovation and reconstruction while we were staying there. They were very accommodating and we didn’t have any problems. They don’t even charge any extra money for the dog. Very well run hotel

We arrived at 11:30 pm in order to get a few hours of sleep before completing the second leg of our trip early the next morning. Our room was non-refundable. When we arrived they are remodeling the lobby. At 11:30 pm, when I checked in, they were jackhammering the tile off the lobby floor. I had checked their website before booking with them... no mention of construction AT ALL! Deep, base sounding, thumping noise went on until at least after 2 am. Called the front desk due to noise as we didn’t know if it was music or what and was told they would check it out, but it did not stop. Was told at check out that they checked and could hear no music, so I assume it was construction noise traveling through areas as we were in a room close to the stairwell and elevator. The room itself was great! It was clean, bed was comfortable, no complaints at all with the actual room. If not for the noise I would not have had even one complaint even with the mess and such from remodeling.

This hotel was very nasty. The sheets were not clean, the towels had hair all over them, the floor had not been vacuumed, and the AC did not work. I understand this is not an updated hotel, but it was horrible.

We were in town for a baseball tournament. Location was perfect for us since our destination for the tournament was only a few minutes away.

Refrigerator was not cleaned Hallways were hot Window covering was sheer black that let a LOT Of light in, all nite, from the mall next door.
