Motel 6 Milford, CT

The employee tried hard to get us through check in quickly which I appreciate

The room could it been cleaner I dislike the bathroom walls been so dirty

The room was clean. Back door to the building was constantly unlocked did not appear to be able to lock outside appearance in the rear at the motel very trashy. Staff was not pleasant

No breakfast. Should of have that with safe socialdistancing

the place was great clean and convenient everything is close by. the down fall is, the check in time is later, but I am thankful the staff was able to accommodated the time for my family funeral thank you.

Overall, the room was fine. The bed was fairly comfortable and they don't charge to bring your pets, yet the place didn't stink of animals. However, it is a smoke free hotel that smells like smoke. Luckily, the room itself did not smell, but as soon as you open the door, the smell hits you and you smell it all down the hall and in the lobby. If I hadn't already made the reservation, I would have left as soon as I walked into the lobby to check in because the smoke smell was so strong. My other pet peeve is that they have no Do Not Disturb signs - so we had to just tell the front desk we didn't want room service.. still, one day we were all woken to the maid pounding on the door and another day the maid knocked in the afternoon, waking my 4 month old.

Myself and my partner woke up with itchy skin from the bed sheets from our stay. Made sure to make staff aware and was completely brushed off and dismissed by the woman on duty who was actually in process of training an incoming employee at the time I spoke with her! Much different than tone from my usual experience with this hotel but it will make me think twice if I need a hotel in the area again.

Non-smokers beware, the whole building smells like smoke. The exterior has a fresh coat of paint but everything inside is shabby. The bed bounced and sagged, the sheets were thin, the pillows terrible. Oh, and the bathroom door was so warped it wouldn't close. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and helpful. My suggestion is to pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

I booked a double bed but was given a single bed.

The room was kept nice and cool when we checked in on a hot day. After walking on the carpet, feet felt dirty and stairs felt sticky on shoes.
