Mercure Albi Bastides

Great location to view the beautiful old city from across the river. Nice terrace outside in a quiet area. Short, 10 minute walk into the old city center, to see the Toulouse Latrec museum and the Cathedral.

Arrived late evening as a stopover. Great value and parking.

The best place to stay at ALBI

Our room has a great view of the old city of Albi and it's a short stroll across the bridge to the old town center with fantastic views on the bridge as well.

Hotel was within walking distance to the church and the museum. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

Friendly helpful welcome. Riverside view from bedroom and from dining room was beautiful especially at night. Lovely big bathroom Parking on site Very convenient to walk into the city and main attractuons. Breakfast was excellent with great choices. Nespresso coffee machine. Fresh baked goods and hot choice. Outdoor eating Ares. Evening meal reasonable price and good menu

Found the bedroom and bathroom rather small and the step down from the shower was quite slippy. Also there was cracked pottery in the dining room, especially the egg cups.

This hotel has it all. Perfect location: right on the river with amazing views, easy to find, easy to get in and out of town, easy to get to sites and restaurants. Rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay and are quiet. Staff were helpful and efficient. The only negative was that the charged us for the rooms on our bill even though we prepaid through Expedia. That may be a problem on Expedia’s side, since I thought originally that I had reserved rooms without prepayment.

Nice location in central Albi, good rooms, excellent staff, would certainly stay here again. Only wish the standard and range of food in the restaurant was better, though the breakfast cannot be faulted.
