Hotel St André

It is an older property that could use some upgrading, but it is budget friendly and meets the needs of a single traveler. The most unique service is having breakfast brought to your room each morning. that is a wonderful treat. It would be nice to have a coffee pot in the room for later in the day, but there is a McDonald's on the corner. It is located in a very walkable and convenient area of Montreal

Localized in a great area. Walking distance to everything.

Obnoxiously loud people running up and down the corridor all night. Had to put ear plugs at 1:45am so I could sleep, but woke up again around 3 with more noise. Found a pill by the bed that escaped the attention of cleaning staff.

Have stayed a couple times now, each time there is hair all over the bed and often in the bathroom. One of three times I stayed there was urine all over the toilet seat. The beds are horribly uncomfortable, more like sleeping on a nest of springs with a sheet over it. The rooms themselves are rather depressing, with chipped paint, furniture crammed into too-small rooms, lack of natural light. Poor soundproofing...lots of noise. They charge too much for what it is, the lobby is deceptive. Nicer and cheaper stays elsewhere nearby.

Perfect location, quiet, desperately needs some work, looks old and run down, housekeeping staff not very efficient, boring breakfast

The central location in downtown Montreal, of course the price, and especially the service (free parking, great info from front desk, and breakfast by room-service) hardly found in chain hotels.

Breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable and clean.

Room could have been cleaner. And there was a hole in the ceiling that could have been fixed.

Location was good, price was nice, carpets were warn, i checked for bed bugs with IV and found none, staff were rude, card demagnetized easily, it was okay

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location. Waking distance to train station, restaurants, bars, and clubs.
