Sleep Inn Provo near University

I’ve stayed here before and it’s been great. This time they weren’t as helpful and the door keys were extremely difficult to get to work. Service desk wasn’t helpful in this situation. I did complain about it to the morning crew and they were much more helpful.

The bed was okay. HOWEVER, the electrical outlet on one of the bedside lamps did not work (requiring me to pull the bedside table away from the wall to plug in my phone and CPAP); the toilet made sudden, unexpected noises for no apparent reason; the curtains looked like someone had rubbed giant boogers on them; the TV signal was very poor quality (with constant glitching, lots of digital noise, and a stretched perspective that cut off the top and bottom of the picture—not related to the TV settings, which I checked and also confirmed when the video stream from my Roku Stick appeared perfectly) and the advertised premium movie channels were missing; the indoor pool was uncomfortably cold; and the breakfast selection only consisted of three varieties of tiny muffins, two varieties of tiny juices, and two varieties of granola bars. When I mentioned the technical issues to the young man at the front desk, he seemed annoyed with me, complaining that he would need to have a third-party engineer look at them and blamming all the TV problems on their third-party program provider, stating that there was nothing he could do about it.

Our room was not clean at all. Black stuff on the hand towel, hair left all over the shower walls, the comforter was shredded.

Nobody at desk at checking waited at least 3-5 minutes. Clerk was not wearing face covering

Asked for towels when we went to the pool and there were none. We were told there was no house keeping so no towels. The hotel was less then 50% full, but the front desk would not go get towels out of unoccupied rooms. Oh, and they spring a $50 security deposit on you at check in.

There was no house keeping and the front desk said that is why there were no towels at pool or for your room. Kind of hard to believe that they couldn't get towels out off unoccupied rooms since it was only 40% full.

I think they were moving furniture all night long above us or in the hall or something. It has been ten years since I stayed in such an impossible motel to sleep in. There was ball point pen markings in one bed's sheets and a stain on the other one. I can't believe this motel was rated 8.4. I checked before I got it. I felt like I got robbed of $90. Do yourself a favor and stay the springhill suites or hampton next door.

Great staff, easy freeway access.
