Nairobi Serena Hotel

The staff were very efficient, helpful and friendly. The view of the park and Nairobi from the room was a bonus. The breakfast was excellent.

Lovely hotel. I checked in at 4.00am, service was quick & easy, delightful staff. Food good, drinks better! Lovely little bar hidden away beyond lobby- great nightcap location.Hotel can arrange for a car to take you anywhere for a reasonable price.

We were very impressed by staff friendliness and the great food

Serena Nairobi offers a wonderful oasis close to the city centre. The recent upgrades and renovations have seen a big improvement in the overall ambience. The property is clean and well maintained. The hotel has a lot of character and charm that differentiates it from the usual chain upper-end hotels. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, as is the dining staff. Unfortunately, meal service on the pool side patio and Cafe Maghreb is quite slow, although the food is very good. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The new restaurant, H and S, offers and interesting choice of pan-asian dishes, although it tends to be a bit noisy.

This hotel has amazing security, the hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious, not sure it is a family hotel, seemed like a lot of business people. The restaurant food was excellent and breakfast had many choices. There is a park behind the hotel, which felt safe, but recommend not to be out too late.
