Beautiful building in the center of town. Walking distance to pedestrian areas, ferries, trains, busses, theatre, concert hall, restaurants, etc.

So close to the train station and right in the heart of town, perfect position.

Amazing views of the harbour from most rooms

Better to have a single bed in this room (215) . Its small size would make proper cleaning difficult. The dust under the bed was like tumble weed......very bad for those of us with allergies . It was like an oven....no air ....no air con. The window opened a couple of inches only ....the air con for the rest of the hotel directly outside......very noisy....... dead plants and rubbish made up the view. Breakfast is set out in quite a small area. At times like a rugby scrum. Guests handling the bread, dropping it on the floor and replacing it. Extra items for cereals on a high shelf with plastic plants hanging precariously on the shelf above. This hotel is ready for a refit . If Hotels.com can only offer sub standard rooms we are all best advised to give them a miss.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is conveniently located in the center of Helsingborg. Our room was quiet and comfortable. My only criticism would be that the bathtub/shower was extremely steep and slippery and would be difficult for anyone with even a small mobility problem. Breakfast was good with lots of selections. A special compliment to Peter, the check-in agent when we arrived, for a creative solution get our room set up for our little girl to sleep well in a semi-private space. Housekeeping did a very thorough job each day making the room feel clean.

We’ve stayed in superior room. I wouldn’t call it large, but there was enough space for two of us. 2 large single comfy beds. Small bathroom, but everything was in working order like it should be. Hotel has small gym and nice sauna downstairs and it wasn’t busy in the evening time so we could relax... very tasty and rich breakfast...I’d say, I’ve never seen such a choice anywhere else, not to mention it’s included in the price!!! One more thing I did like about hotel was coffee/tea stand on the floor and some snacks left for grabs. Like 5* experience... hotel is kinda mixed of old style and nicely decorated. And of course You just can’t forget to mention it’s location...just perfect! If I’ll have to visit Helsingborg once again someday, no doubt this will be my first choice!

Alright hotel. Very nice common areas and in a great location, downside is the rather standard no thrill rooms with no electronic conveniences (chrome cast etc).

My room was extremely small, old fashioned, dark, cold, at times smelly (seemed like kitchen smells somehow invaded the room) and very much in need of refurbishment. The whole hotel seems to be worn and past it’s sell by date for a, so called, Grand hotel. I will never stay there again - it is 100 miles from the quality of the Hotel Mollberg 100 metres up the same road and in my experience the Grand most often tries to charge a higher room rate. Really extremely poor value - more 2 star than 4. Bar not open had to go to another hotel! Breakfast was OK but very motel buffet average and some things had run out. On the way to my room I saw a door whose lock had been broken into - worrying. Few toiletries and accessories - horrible large pump action bottles of cheap shampoo, conditioner and soap. No tissues, cotton wool/buds or anything like that. Even the towels seemed old and worn and needed replacing. Would have stayed at Mollberg but it was, for once, more expensive - wish I’d paid the extra - this was more like a hostel than a hotel. As I say never again at any price.
