The Maids Head Hotel

Small but pleasant room. Nice design touches to the room. A bit noisy at nighttime. Well thought out Covid procedures.

Very well presented and comfortable hotel with helpful staff and in an excellent location for a city break or longer.

Great stay very impressed and will try and stay on my monthly head office visit at the Maids Head.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Great car park at the back of the hotel, which is free with your stay (even all of the day you checkout!) The room was nice and had a view of Tombland in Norwich and a glimpse of the cathedral. The only negative I have was that the room felt very cold and I couldn’t find any thermostat or heater, except a heated towel rail in the bathroom.

Good location close to the cathedral and within walking distance of most sights, shops, restaurants and the railway station. Very COVID-safe. My deluxe room was spacious and comfortable, had a bit of a view of the cathedral spire but mainly overlooked the car park. Staff were friendly and efficient. Despite its heritage the hotel somehow lacked atmosphere and some of the decor and carpets in public areas were a bit tired. For that reason I would say it was a bit overpriced.

Stayed in the cathedral suite which is amazing, The only downside was glitches with the iPad to order room service and then no reply from restaurant (transfer by reception) to order room service. Overall a fantastic place to stay.

As per usual staff were first class i have nothing negative to say about this hotel Suite was excellent very clean & spacious , Alex on reception was professional & knowledgable nothing is ever too much trouble & guests always come first
