The rod in the closet collapsed after hanging 3 sundresses up. The bathroom fan sounded like it was going to explode and break. The overall quality was unsatisfactory. I will not be staying there again.

It’s was a good stay but you are paying for the view.

The resort has a collection of bikes to borrow to ride along the costal highway. Valet guys were great. Friendly and helpful. The hotel did a good job of responding to Covid without it having a negative impact on the trip.

The rooms A/C didn’t work I had to call 3 times They came and tried to fix it 3 times Still was stuck without A/C overnight

The hotel is amazing. My review and poor rating really have to do with the lack of initiative of the staff. Upon checking in, my wife and are decided to have lunch and head down to the pool. Lunch was eaten on deck (slow service and decent food) at restaurant and after we wanted to go relax (celebrating 3rd year anniversary)and have a drink by the pool. We were asked to wear green wristbands by staff when going to pool. Okay no problem. However when we got down the their were no seats available. Crowded for a Tuesday during COVID 19? Okay we thought we’d wait for someone to leave. Upon observation, we noticed people not staying in the hotel (young adults) sneaking themselves and others in the pool hanging out under the cabanas and taking seats I presumed were intended for paying customers. I guess not. The pool was so crowded we decided to leave and head down to the beach for the rest of the afternoon. I called to share my displeasure with hotel manager only to be called back later that night when at dinner celebrating our anniversary and did not feel up to taking the call at the moment. Overall, for $500 a night go elsewhere especially if you cannot enjoy and amenities intended for guests and policies are not enforced.

Room quality compared to the price was a joke. Dirty empty minibar, no room service. Hotel gave out my private information, other hotel guests were noisy until 4am. Hotel manager apologized but did not follow through with finding out how my name given out. I will never stay at this hotel again, absolute garbage.

The rooms were very nice. We had a Coastal King room with an amazing ocean view. The staff were very nice and professional. Always wearing masks. It was nice to have a staycation after three months, top notch!

We love L'Auberge. Just have noticed some deferred maintenance items particularly poolside and exterior of property. Torn upholstery on pool cushions, rusty umbrella tops and the entire exterior needs painting / upkeep.
