Courtyard by Marriott Huntington Beach Fountain Valley

The bathroom set up is horrible, coffee/ fridge area is in the sink area behind a door into the shower/ toilet are, bad set up.. The shampoo dispenser was empty, not sure about the conditioner one.. There is no spot in the shower area to lay your clean clothes except on the toilet seat, not practical..

Despite the pandemic, the hotel was great overall. My only complaint would be that I miss the hot breakfasts. We got a boxed breakfast.

Was near a major construction site. Listened to back up alarms on dump trucks. No mention of it when bioking.

I heard every noise from next door and people up stair ...

It was very convenient coming from the beach. It’s further than what the website says, more like 6 miles than 2. Check in was fast, room was clean. Good water pressure. Overall a good stay.

If you're not providing breakfast, you should remove that offering from your site. But with all other restaurants in the area serving, I don't see why you couldn't provide a continental breakfast with distancing.

They put us far far away, 3rd floor, across from an ice machine room that was very active at midnight. We changed rooms and found us something even further from elevator. The pool hours are impossible now and you can blame corona but its only 10am to 6pm so no pool for us. Next day, no apologies and no discounts/refunds/redo's.

Nice comfortable room. There is a parking charge.

This is an older hotel that has been renovated recently it seems like. Some of the carpets are getting old in the elevators and hallways, but we were pleasantly surprised with the room, how nice it was for such a low price. We did find a long black hair in the bathroom on the floor and there was no coffee machine. I think the thing I really liked the least was the fact that there was no Coffee machine. There was a fridge though. The bed was very nice and new. I’m used to a softer bed though. I liked the couch in the room and the fact that they have a little table underneath the desk that you can roll over to the couch and use. For the price it was a very nice stay.

Property was well kept I’ve never had a problem with Marriott but 30 min after we left we realized we left an Item behind so called to see if they can hold it being that we were going to be back in a month or ship and we would pay the fee. Originally they said they talked to housekeeping said yes and would just ship it. About 3-4 hours later they called saying it was thrown away and couldn’t recover it because it was mixed with a lot of other garbage. The staff said that they told housekeeping it was a curling iron which was inaccurate therefore they only looked for the curling iron pretty much disregarding anything else that was found. It was so upsetting because this item was really expensive and the way it was handled did not meet my expectations for Marriott.
