Motel 6 Moriarty, NM

The toilet was disgusting. It had feces splattered inside of the bowl. There was urine and hair on the rim. There was hair in the shower. A LOT. The bed was uncomfortable. And to absolutely hamper any chance of rest, the smoke detector right outside my door, chirped every 30 seconds because it needed the battery replaced. I saw the clerk upon check in with mask under her chin. Later when I went to smoke outside, she had discarded her mask all together.

The room wasn’t clean, I booked a non smoking room , but I can smell the cigarettes, the person who was on the top floor was walking all night long, I called and see if we can move to another room , but the reception never answered the call.

First off there was no refrigerator in the room as advertised on Travelosicty. Second, I booked and paid for a single king bed room - I was put in a dual queen room ( no big deal ). And last, BUT ABSOLUTE WORST, was the bed!! I cannot stress this enough...the absolute WORST matress I have ever slept on in my life ( sleep wasnt really had ). The matress was about 6 inches thick and just layed ontop of 1/2 inch particle board. I will NEVER book this hotel again...and if you are booking someplace to actually sleep....I would advise you not to either!! Seriously WORST night I have had in decades!!

There was no coffee maker, not enough pillows for the size of bed. Bathroom exhaust fan was very loud. The woman clerk who checked us in was very nice and apologetic of having only one room available that she said would be noisy because of people checking in and out. The room was close close to lobby. The noise was no problem. It was a place to sleep for the night. Overall it was okay for a one night sleep but not for a lengthy tome

Good place for a quick nights rest while traveling.

The property is old and NOT maintained. The room was full of flies and I went back to front desk to get a fly swatter. The manager didn't have a clue what I was talking about. Her suggestion was open window to outside and let flies out. Room wasn't very clean - toilet was not bolted down good and we had to put something underneath to keep it from rocking. I had to kill several other bugs besides the flies. The manager did go an purchase a fly swatter and that did help kill about 30 flies. Would never stay here again........

The room was very dirty dogs hair in the beds the ice they given to me is old he doesn’t use gloves 😖

Motel is ok, no issues with location or safety. The room is clean for the most part but the shower could be a lot cleaner. My only real issue is the bed isn’t comfortable. It’s really hard!

This stay actually had us cancel other Motel 6 bookings on our trip. The property is completely worn down, fridge didn't work, no microwave in room as advertised, ice maker was broken. Bailey at the front desk was great and was trying hard, but she's being overworked by a dysfunctional property. It was cheap, but still not worth it.

Everything is ok just wish there were microwaves in the room
