It was lovely and our room was perfect. Not sure why they charge $34 to self park in the garage underneath the hotel😔

Although this is during the time of Covid, the staff was amazing. Whether serving breakfast, bringing up extra blankets and pillows, and the location is on one of the best beaches in California. thank you for making this a special family stay.

The hotel staff was amazing! From the reservation clerks at the front to the food servers at breakfast, and the grounds crew who were helpful if we had questions. All so friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to Pat and Olivia at the front desk, and a lovely woman at the coffee station at breakfast. She was cheery and positive and was a great start to my days! The hotel itself is a little worn,or maybe it was just because it is Covid-19 times. There were no amenities open, though it would have been nice to use the hot tub by reservation like people could use the pool. The free breakfast was pretty poor, with most of the “hot” foods pretty cold and unappetizing. The cold choices should have been increased from the high sugar muffins and yogurts to include some more healthy options. I think the parking fees were way excessive, especially given the lack of true resort amenities. Since I have not stayed here before, I don’t know if their room rates were lower than normal, but I certainly wouldn’t spend that much to stay here again. The hotel bills itself as nonsmoking but our neighbors next to us smoked on their patio, so consequently we breathed it in too. We also noted people smoking in the interior courtyard and were affected by their second hand smoke too.

The room 9209 was extremely disgusting and not five star hotel requirement. The grounds need more care and cleanup overall. The smell was like a nasty motel. Extremely poor conditions for the price!

Beautiful view. A bit of noise in hall due to a party but security responded very quickly.

My room wasn’t an ocean view and when I called, I was told I was in the right “room category”. Me and my friends stayed for only 2 nights and the morning of the second day we had no toilet paper in our room. I had to walk to the front desk to Request it and had to wait about 10 min. Before someone from maintenance could give me one role.

The location of this hotel is why you go. Located on a beautiful white sand beach with breathtaking views. However, the hotel itself is very tired and run down. I’ve heard there are some updated rooms, but our (top dollar oceanfront) room was a total DUMP. The entire room smelled old and musky, the furniture was stained, the refrigerator was broken, the carpets were gross, the pull out couch wasn’t even useable, no extra towels or blankets, the hallway leading us to our room was lined with trash bags and dirty towels on the ground....I could really go on. This felt like a motel stay. I won’t go back unless they do a full remodel to all their rooms.
