Swissotel The Bosphorus Istanbul

This is a very nice high end property. The location is superb - the views of Bosphorus are amazing and the hotel is within walking distance of high end shopping and good restaurants. We had a small check-in problem with upgrade being offered and then reversed, but Guest Relations Manager Zeynep addressed the issue to our satisfaction and also provided her whatsapp number that allowed for very easy communication with the hotel throughout our stay. The food selection in the lounge was good and staff was very attentive. 16th floor rooftop restaurant had an extensive menu as well as very efficient and polite service. I would highly recommend this hotel. Michael

This hotel is in a trendy neighborhood. The room was okay. The bed was quite hard! My Bosphorus view had a small view. The app and service were not great. Asking for reservations or prices for mini bar items proved useless. The rooftop bar is a hit with the young, pretentious, dressed to the 9’s crowd. Don’t even try to go for a simple nightcap. The hotel lobby bar also was closed while I sat waiting for a server (there were 3 running around.) severely overrated and over priced.

Good hotel in the nice location. It is walking distance to the nice Istanbul neighborhood. The service is typical for many expensive hotels in Istanbul. It seems ok, but the staff doesn’t explain to you anything, someone has to work it out what is available. No view of Bosphorus. The rooth top bar is constantly overbooked.

A very good expensive hotel. Fantastic views. The only negative thing was at Reception on arrival: they couldn't find my resservation, then instead of sea view room (paid for) tried to give me a room facing a building). Althow, It all ended up to my favor.

The only think I didn’t like was that when I had to extend my staying the charged me much more that Orbitz !

Hands down seriously this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Istanbul!!! As soon as you arrive at the door they sterilise you’re suitcase! Temperature checks security checks felt soo safe! The hotel itself is amazing with the best view!!! Super clean staff was soo polite and helpful! Defo I will come back to Swiss

Everything was quite wonderful. But the pool was packed and overly crowded! We couldn’t find a place to relax not even a chair .... the hotel could have been better prepared for such a crowd

Despite Covid and travel restrictions, the hotel was incredibly busy during our stay. There appeared to be functions, weddings etc every night generating a lot of noise into early hours. These functions also cut off normally public areas.. the very ones that give best views of the Bosphorus. There were long queues for breakfast. After 15 mins wait we gave up and went to one of the local cafes. The staff were all very good and I sensed were unhappy with the effect that this had on guest satisfaction. I was very impressed with Swissotel in Singapore but this fell short.
