Holiday Inn Indianapolis Airport Area N

This hotel is newer, and so all of the facilities are in brand new condition. Cleanliness was exceptional, and even with limitations due to COVID, breakfast options were provided! We only stayed one night, and the room was very comfortable - a much-needed rest after an entire 18 hour day on the road. We traveled with our two children, sister, and two dogs. Our only complaint about this hotel stems from our interaction with one of the managers onside. Upon checking out, the manager followed us to the door, asking if our dogs were pets. She then informed us that she would be charging us at $50 cleaning fee per dog, because "this is not a pet-friendly hotel." When we informed her that we would not have booked the hotel if that was true (but, in fact, Expedia specifically listed it as a pet-friendly hotel), she acknowledged that that was an error, but that she would still charge us for the cleaning of both rooms. We said that we refused to pay, because we were not responsible for the error in the hotel's pet-friendly listing. And, as it was already checkout time, we were technically no longer customers. The manager then conceded, and rudely asked if our credit card was on file from check-in (it was not, as we were 3rd party). She was very rude, but in the end, we did not have issues being able to check-out with no additional charges.

Back door entry doesn't work, lady at check in could have advised to use front door. I walked back to front 2 times. Shower wouldn't drain and there was water leaking all around the toilet area as husband got out of shower. To top it off...i got charged twice for my stay. Once by hotels.com and then Holiday Inn charged me again. I called and spoke to guest services, was promised an email about refund process within 30 minutes. That was about 4 hours ago. I did call hotwl back to make sure they have correct.
