Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport

Building was dated and old. Lobby looks great but rooms do not. Pool looked clean but hottub was disgusting and smelled like a rotten foot. Area is bad and not a nice place to stay. Spend a little more money and go to a nicer hotel closer to Miami Beach.

The pool was very cold. There was no extra blanket or pillows for the pull-out couch, even though we booked the room for 5 people, and we had 2 double beds. Rooms were not ready at 3 when we tried to check in, but that's understandable. When we did check in, the clerk who filled in to help out forgot to give us a promo code for the wifi, so we spent a long time trying to figure out our Hilton Honors code, account, login etc. until I finally went down to the front desk, where I was told there was a promo code slip. They were kind enough to waive our parking fee after we asked.

The mattress was so very bad and the pillows were paper thin. The pull out sofa was dirty and just a box spring. The service was great and food service excellent. Just seeping conditions we very poor.

Upon arrival there was no double beds available had to take the King size bed for my family of 5.. Kids were ok on the sofabed for a few hours, Left early because it was too uncomfortable and since we only booked 1 night we just rested and left in a couple hours.

The hotel was close to the airport which we needed and the pool was nice. The only portion of the hotel that was remodeled was the first floor, the rooms were not and in bad condition. A portion of the ceiling was falling into our beds. Due to Covid-19, they did not replenish our towels even when we requested. The parking was too expensive, as we usually expect free parking at Embassy Suites, but they use their lot for airport parking and still charge their guests, which is ridiculous. Without the usual evening social hour, staying at an Embassy Suites is not worth the price.

Hotel was not very clean

The hotel is old and needs renovated. The tv only worked sometimes. Having to pay for internet at this point in time is just crazy. There should be free WiFi throughout the hotel. The one great thing was the airport shuttle drivers. They helped with our mountain of luggage and were very helpful.

Check in was a disaster and it was not due to Covid-19. The rooms were not at available on time and caused me untimely delays in my plans for the day. The room was not cleaned properly with stains on the sheer curtain and cabinet doors that were not wiped as well as a clogged toilet.

Been staying at the Embassy suites all over the United States. next week I’m staying at the Embassy suites in San Francisco hope it’s a lot better and cleaner this one here in Miami Florida was kind of ghetto smell funky not enough space for being a suite.
