Quality Inn

Very restful, looking forward to staying on our return trip.

Hotels itself was nice. Very clean and in good condition. We received a call to our room from the front desk at 12:30am saying that we hadn't signed a paper at check in. The person who called then said it was an error and that we had signed the needed paperwork. The phone call woke up our while family.

I checked in and the first thing I did when I got to my hot room was try to open the window. I noticed the window screen was Very broken. Within 5 minutes of checking in, I returned to the lobby to request a different room due to the window screen being broken. I was immediately accused of breaking the screen and advised I would have to pay for it. I hadn't even gotten my luggage in the room. The front desk staff said they would have to go to the room with me to see the broken window. I thought this was ridiculous as I had just checked in with the same person and hardly would break a window and come back to the lobby to request a new room, advising the window was broken.

The hotel was not as good as the last time we were there, but neither am I. There was loose caulking around the toilet, that could be fixed with very little effort. The wall paper around the shower is starting to come loose, also a quick fix, in my humble opinion.

Employee did not wear a mask although customers were required to. Clean room.

The rooms are old and outdated. The carpet is dingy and likely very dirty. The toilet seat was missing a bolt so it shifted back and forth when using it. (We checked in very late at night and were leaving early the next morning; otherwise, we would have complained to the front desk.) The trim around the door in the bathroom had "spatters" around it that appeared to be blood but, on further inspection, we believe they are really rust spots since the door frame is metal. There is mold on the ceiling over the shower. Thankfully, we were only there only 7 hours just to sleep and shower!!

Check in was at 3 and we could not get into our rooms until 3:15. They had has booked in 2 handicapped rooms and we did not need handicapped rooms. We told them we would take other rooms that were available. However, we had to wait until the two were done. Desk clerk wa not very friendly and was a little rude when asking for my license and credit card when I was signing other things.

Very good, friendly and helpful people.

The rooms smelled weird. And the breakfast wasn’t worth anything

The staff is wonderful and trying to work with what’s going on. On arrival we learned the hot water tank was out so NO hot water for anyone, then they told me the pool was empty for repainting and to start the day with breakfast included was a bag with a danish, granola bar and a water. They are giving 20% off with is still $81 for me to cover. Not the best first night of vacation.
