Super 8 by Wyndham Wichita Airport

The hotel was not up to Wyndham standards that is for sure, i was not too happy with the room overall. First there was a huge stain on the top bedspread, was never changed out in the time i was there. The shower was barely warm enough to take a shower, pretty sure they set the temp low to save money. Under the sink looked horrible, plus it backed up a few times. When taking me back to the airport the manager was on his phone the whole time and that made me nervous. He and the staff were very nice, but i did not book it to make friends. The room stunk, there was a blower in the hall for two days that was a lovely noise. I will never stay here again.

Room was haphazardly “updated”. The blanket under the bedspread had numerous burn holes from a cigarette. The mattresses were cheap- like laying on a bed of springs. The coffeemaker was inoperable- missing the coffee filter/grounds pull out holder. The toilet seat had dried urine drops like someone who had cleaned the room used it themselves. The shower head was caked in limes ale buildup. The freezer in refrig was a big block of ice. The ice machine in the hall was broke and there was no other machine in the building to use. This motel was very grimey! I won’t be returning!

Our door didn’t lock. It was not safe. The employee was not friendly.

There were roaches in the room and for a non-smoking room it reeked of cigarette smoke.

I would make sure each room has an extra roll of toilet paper.... Our room only had under a half a roll...it was after the time when we could request more

Check-in went very smooth. However, when we got to our rooms they reeked of smoke and the carpets were filthy. Rather than making a complaint we just dealt with it. Upon check out, staff stated that we had been smoking in our room and would owe them an extra $250 on top of the $50 deposit that was already made. I do understand that they are running a business, but the manager was very rude and would not reason with us. After 20 minutes of arguing he finally gave our deposit back. Very disappointed with the service.

This hotel was very dirty, it smelled dirty. The befs were lopsided as well as have springs that stick up into the middle of your back. The beds were small , this hotel offered no other bed choices . The website said free hot breakfast. But there was none offered. Using the excuse of taking precautions due to covid-19. With the number one reason they are not serving breakfast. Very dirty and rundown. Sink faucet in the room spun around and as broken. Several large black bugs in tub. GROSS!!!!

Everything was great except for the fact that breakfast wasn't served and I understand that the virus is the cause of this situation, but motels should take it off the listings until this so called virus epidemic is over so customers know exactly what they are paying for.

toilet didn't flush unless you held it down, the bathroom door didn't latch let alone lock, the room was not clean not enough towels, the room smelled awful. Tv remote needed batteries. The light switch was filthy, the bed linens were cigarette burned in a no smoking room that smelled of smoke. My child is asthmatic so this was not a great thing. the lady that got us the toilet paper and towels for our room was super nice and sweet. the guy that checked us in was rude and very short he also checked us out his attitude sucked!
