Super 8 by Wyndham Greencastle

Room was great and clean. Outside the garbage cans were overflowing and staircase was filthy. Check in was only at the night check in spot and of course no breakfast as advertised. Coffee in the room was one regular and one cup of decaf.

The outside is very well taken care of. Rocks line the outside...no bushes or anything, very simple, less caretaking for owners. I reserved a smoking room even though I step out for it most times. Was impressed the ac vent filter seemed clean. Yes I check those because it shows if they take care to do the little things that make a difference. The room was comfortable. Had a little issue getting the tv to come on but eventually it came on. Was'nt impressed with the lack of thorough cleaning. I've always wondered why hotels don't do deep cleans on a regular basis. Walls, doors, carpets, bedding/comforters all should be deep cleaned on a regular basis. This motel needs work with that. It was'nt the worst but can be improved.

The Super 8 by Wyndham in Greencastle has easy access and a good price.

W were on the second floor in an almost empty hotel and are over 65 years old.

The rooms were nice and very affordable compared to other lodging in the area.

This was close to 81 and the event I was attending. Convenient and affordable.

This hotel was a bit aged and rough around the edges, but the price was appropriate.
