Holiday Inn Express & Suites La Jolla - Beach Area

Clean, good location but nothing too fancy. Toilet handle in 252 gets stuck & shower has a few rogue jets if this is read by staff. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

This hotel is in a good location. The room was just ok. Air and heat did not work, they Brought us up a heater. There are absolutely no hooks in the bathroom which I can not understand why not. You can hear the traffic from road. Its two blocks from beach which was nice. Coffee shop across the street has great coffee!!!

This hotel was affordable yet had every convenience and comfort a person could desire in a hotel room. We chose this over some of the fancier hotels that cost so much more and we were not disappointed. Actually it was one of our favorite hotels of our whole trip. We chose a double suite with an ocean view, and it had a sofa and big chair, very nice. The bathroom was exceptional.

The hotel was very clean and the staff very nice. Everything about this hotel was awesome!! The hotel was located close to everything. I especially love the pillows and the to-go breakfast. Beautiful small hotel.

Perfect for a two night stay near the ocean and beaches.

Enjoyed the beach being a quick walk. Felt like I was part of the community. I use to live close by and this hotel feels like it belongs with this neighborhood.

Exceeded all expectations and more. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in with all the amenities, top notch service, location location and a nice balcony view and cleanliness was excellent. It was a last find of a gem and would stay here again next time I’m in La Jolla especially for the great price.

Excellent location to beach restaurants and stores

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. We appreciated the breakfast provided.

Happy with location with very easy academic to the beautiful rocky beach, room amenities excess my expectation: coffee, tea, microwave, small fridge. A little bit noise in the morning because of room window and door from the balcony type hallway. But there is a choice of other rooms, I just selected this one because I was staying only two nights.
